Can someone identify these?

Plain and simple, a friend of mine gave these to me today, and I was just wondering if they are 'magic mushrooms'? This will be my first time trying it and I want to make sure the person gave me legit stuff, since I've never had them before. Also, one of the bags has a lot of little particles, what are those?

they look look cubes. though if you want a proper i.d. youll need a better picture of the gills as well as the spore print. they are active though. and, based on the stuff in the bottom of the bag that looks like dirt (is probably vermiculite) meaning they were homegrown (so were you live doesnt matter)

well because of the area i recon they might be Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata or Psilocybe caerulipesim not an expert though but if they stain blue then they are most likly a psilocybe mushroom
its hard to tell when dry because of color change

They look like cubes (Psilocybe cubensis) to me, which is indeed the classic "magic mushroom." jackus, they were probably cultivated indoors, not picked.
The little particles are flakes of dried mushroom tissue, spore mass, and perhaps also bits of the substrate on which the mushrooms grew. It's optional to eat.

you are good to go. they look like homegrown cubes. the "dirt" is most likely shroom dust. after the mushrooms are dry they tend to break up and leave some dust behind. do you have a scale? there are a lot of shrooms there and for your first trip i would definitely weigh them out. 3.5 grams will send you on a good first ride, while 2 or 2.5 grams will give you a nice taste of what shrooms are all about. if that is indeed shroom dust, save it and make tea out of it.
have fun. be safe and let the fungi take you where it wants to.

They are Psilocybe cubensis that have been cultivated indoors at too high carbon dioxide levels (that cultivator needs to work on his FAE techniques), as the small caps and long stipes indicate. Doesn't affect their potency, though.

high or trip? haha. it looks like you have enough for about 3 people. i said it once, ill say it again. get a scale. u don't want to be eyeballing shrooms for your 1'st trip. also, this way you can split it up evenly. scales are cheap. get one.
