First Mini mono - failure. Your thoughts?

I have two mini mono tubs (A strain MS) that colonized for 14 days and have been fruiting for a week with these conditions:
Temperature: 72 (80+ during colonization) Humidity: 80% Light: 6500k 12/12 Humidity: Daily spray FAE: fan pointing in the general direction (see pic) and occasional manual fanning Tek: Doc's Mini with SGFC
This is the pic of the setup. Notice the fan in the background - it is fixed:

Here is the first tub that began pinning while colonizing and the shroom are very small and sparse after a week of fruiting/growing. The spawn ratio here was low.

The second tub has not produced one pin and appears to be heavily colonized and also seems to have developed spots with an orange tinge. The moisture is from just spraying it. It gets dry:

I have two more tubs in colonization and would love ONE flush. WTF am I doing wrong? I had good luck with my first PF TEK and am considering just going back to that.
Your thoughts and advice are appreciated. This is fun but frustrating when I fail.

Well you need to up your spawn ratio and 80+ temps are too high, those high colonizing temps let the trich get a hold of the sub before the myc could and its good to see you scrapped that fan pointing right at it.Also maybe go over your pasteurizing method and see if there is anything wrong there

The first tub is not contam'd. It is a coir verm mix and the light gives the photo a green tinge.

just because its fruiting doesnt mean it isnt contam'd... id isolate it or get rid of it asap.. better safe than sry

Sry but, my opinion is that there is no green, it just looks like that in the 2nd pic. It was introduced to fruiting conditions too early if you would ask me. But the 3rd pic tells me that there is something that the myc is fighting with. The yellow color is caused by metabolite's that the myc use to fight contams or at least, it shows that there is some kind of stress.

i think that yellowing is due to high light being to close and bright... my subs always get yellow and leathery if the light is to hot/close/bright

poor phortre55, all are telling about problems he might have... but for the first attempt it is nice..IMO. Could be better but he made it this far... Good job! I should have said this at my first post. apologize.... I see no real lack in your tek so far....except that you should let the surface dry before you mist again.

The first tub looks like bluing. Too much water can make it turn blue hence the caps are. I'm not 100% sure with that picture.
That's a lot of standing water in the second tub. Try misting less but more often or increase the quality of air.

Thanks all. Is 80 really too hot to colonize a tub? I know I read that 80 was optimum.

you mentioned 80+ and remember your sub is going to generate heat within itself so its even warmer

80+ is the border.... after that comes complications like contams (bacteria), hollow stems up to thermal death of the myc...

Like above, 80+ too high. Nix the light. Open a window during the day and leave the door cracked. Pins form around 72-76 degrees. I colonize at fruiting temps, MAYBE a smidge higher if they're looking slow. Ps. Cube are pretty easy in that respect.

How deep is your sub, from the looks of the duct tape on your tub it is too deep. 3.5"-4" is the standard depth that works well.
