One building protected from looting...
    #1454265 - 04/13/03 06:37 AM (14 years, 9 months ago)

However, the most telling sign yet, that Iraq?s Oil resources was indeed the main pretext, and not some fairy-like humanitarian and compassionate explanation, which Tony Blair and George W. Bush continued to promote, is that whilst every single establishment, building, government building, hotel, hospital, museum and civilian facility is looted and stripped of their possessions, before the eyes of the coalition troops, it was the Ministry of Oil, that was secured and protected from any such activities....

Don't worry, B. Caapi

I see nothing funny about that. One of the goals was to prevent damage to the oil infrastructure. The ministry of oil is part of that infrastructure.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Yeah, its a little weird, but, the oil establishments wouldn't be a good thing to be lit up on fire!
