Does anyone here have any experience with a drug called Suboxone?

I was reading Bozemans story about his bad trip that got him locked up for almost a year and was thinking to myself wouldn't it be nice to have something to stop a bad trip on hand? I know that if you take Suboxone and within two to three days attempt to trip on paper or shrooms that nothing happens. I assume it is because of the hold the Suboxone has on certain receptors in your brain, what I am now wondering is if you are having a bad trip, and then take Suboxone, will it stop the trip?

Suboxone is for opiate withdrawals.

Best class of drugs would be atypical antipsychotics like olanzapine, they pretty much stop a trip in its tracks and just knock you out for about 20 hours if you're not used to them.
Benzos are useful as well for making overwhelming things more easy to handle.

Buprenorphine could very well help a bad trip because it's an opioid agonist. It's a semi-synthetic derivative of opium.

Opiates are much more effective for that.

I know that it is for opiate withdraws, that is why I was taking it. I got a little upset when my paper did not work, then about a week later people that I know were tripping balls on shrooms and I had an eighth, again nothing. Not even a little dilation, I realized that my Suboxone may have been the problem and began to experiment. I waited a week, did not take it for a day and 24 hours later I tried paper again, nothing. So another week went by and I stopped taking it for two days, ate some paper and got a little dilation but not much more. After another week I waited three days and tried, it worked but was not full blown like it should have been. I had to stop taking it for five days before I could get the full effects, so I am wondering what would happen if someone was tripping balls and took a dose of Suboxone, would it stop it in its tracks? Or would it not be able to fight off the hallucinogens since they have already taken hold?

Benzos are not really an option for me, being a hypomanic bipolar they do not really do much for me, other than make me rude and unpleasant to be around. I have finally gotten clean, the 5th will be 6 months completely sober, if you do not include my smoking and eating of fungi. I am pretty sure those do not count though. I may have to get someone to try this for me. I for one do not ever want to eat Suboxone again, I even turned down the Dilaudid they tried to give me at the hospital recently.
