ok so heres the deal i have a few diffrent strains fruiting and for the most part they all seem good but my fruits are allways so small...anyone know why? i get say like a 2 inch shroomie 1 inch cap that drys down to like .2 .3 sometimes less everyonce and a while il get a massive monster on a cake but 95% of the time there all dinky little buggers i used BRF PF tek in a 50Gal perlite FC when ever i buy shrooms there allways a few big ones with nice sized caps something you would expect to see but when i grow them i end up with like 50 little shroomies smaller then my finger and i most certainly dunk and roll so i dono what my issues are any advice?

Do you have good air circulation? Do you fan them?

well there's a lot that can cause that, you need to provide some more info on your setup. Are the cakes mostly fruiting from the bottom? Did you try using wax paper? A casing layer? How often do you mist/whats your humidity (and do you have a reliable hygrometer)? What size are your cakes?
To me it sounds like you aren't getting a bad yield, but only a lot of little shrooms right? First off I personally wouldn't mind that because that should mean greater potency per the same yield of fewer big shrooms. You are picking as they mature though right, because it kind of sounds like you just aren't getting even flushes and may be picking some too early? If thats the case you might want to experiment more with casing layers to try and manipulate a more even pinset but most importantly don't pick immature shrooms (no offense, idk your experience level, but a lot of people make the mistake of thinking they have to pick them all at once).
IME (and in my research) FAE is one of the biggest factors in fruit size, and the way I've started looking at it is to try to push how much fae you can get while keeping the highest humidity and adequate lighting. I would let my humidity drop a little bit if it meant more fae but not below 95 (and within reason of course).
I think it was RR that said some of the biggest fruits he's ever seen were when he put some bulk outside (while it was raining or fog or something so humidity was perfect) and the fresh air gave him massive fruits.

ok so my FC is on a dresser beside a shaded window i open the curtin whenever im home and not sleeping(i work graveyards) i dont know the humidty i dont have humidex but i assume its good cause they are fruiting my FAE might be a probolem i only fan and mist once a day but its only 6 cakes and its a huge fishtank so i guess i just assumed less fanning was needed and the cakes are fruiting from the bottom of the cakes one might actualy fall over cause a mush is growing from the underside and tiping the cake there on lids not on the perlite
from what im reading here it seems like i need to up the FAE and lighting

If your cakes are fruiting from the bottom you also have a humidity/moisture issue which will cause a lot of small fruits

I would say that right there is a large part of the problem. I would up the FAE, and move from the fish tank to a proper tub. I like Doc_T's Mini Mono'sI mist once a day and beyond that nothing. Works perfectly, and is hassle free.

Also I would say that BRF cakes are just kinda prone to a little bit smaller fruits... there just isnt enough nutrients and such also the shrooms dont have as much support for giants... so just take what you can and work on your skills until you can tra a bulk method and see if you can notice a difference that way too...

Actually BRF is one of the most nutrient rich substrates, fruits tend to be smaller on cakes because of the limited moisture they can hold

Alright well what he said but at any rate the bulk will tend to give much better sized friuts than BRF....

Correct because there is more of it in mass not because its more nutritious
