Wow, imaine that. I thought about the same thing. Actually I tried to move each side of my tongue independently. It's easy. Now I just need to get a razor blade and split it in too. Also I was thinking this:

Actually, I think the procedure is done by piercing the tongue somewhere in the middle, and with a thin wire slowly, carefully pulled out until the wire is free and you have the ultimate vag-pleaser.

well, i wasn't thinking about it as "attractive." mostly, i think moving both sides independantly could make some things, way better.

Apparently when you get the surgery your tongue feels as if it has been released form itself. Both sides can finally work independently.
it feels as if you had 2 fingers taped together and suddenly the tape is removed.

I'm going to be piercing my tongue in the next few weeks, so we'll see where it goes from there.

I've actually had some sexual encounters with a girl with a split tongue before.
It was one of my girlfriends friends, gf was involved,so I wasn't cheating, just letting you know.
But making out was kind of confusing, cuz my tongue would kinda slip in between the fork, so I missed her tongue a few times lol.
But I can definitely vouch that BJs from a forked tongue are pretty awesome. That girl would twiddle it around on it like that girl in the gif did, and wrap around it, pretty much doing a lot of those things that happened in the gif. She was all into body mods so she was tatted and had 1 inch lobes too.

I think it somewhat impedes their speech for a little while after the surgery, kinda like getting a tongue piercing, I'd imagine worse though.

Interesting. So do people do this for any medical reasons or they just do it to have it done-something they want?

I'm considering getting a small magnet implanted near the tip of my index finger. It's said to add another sense for the most part. You can walk into a room and feel the magnetic fields, adding another level of perception.
My main concern is that this will interfere with electronic use, and basically fuck the shit out of my computer, ipod, phone, ect..
any thoughts?

There's a definite chance it could fuck with your electronics. I don't know for sure, but I know magnets fuck up TVs so I would be weary of putting magnets near other electronics.

I was branded on the back of my neck.
It was supposed to be a cross. It went terribly wrong.
Long story short, Jesus fell off the rosary, the cross was stuck in my neck, and it didn't get one of the horizontal pieces rolled, so I'm now stuck with a burn in the shape of a dick.
It's a terrible spot to heal aswell, since it's always moved, so... fuck that shit. I'll live with it.
*There's a little... bump? that showed up after it healed. It bleeds if I pick it, no clue what it is, but it matches.

I couldnt deal with the proceedure or healing that takes place for spliting ones tounge.
Being awake whilst they slide a scalple up the middle of your tounge?
Also healing.
- 1 eating and drinking would be an absolute bitch.
- 2 infection how the fuck do you stop that.
- 3 It would ulcer like a bitch.
- 4 what if it started healing back together.
No fuckin thankyou.

This is put pretty well. I think that if I split my tongue, then I could do some mad shit for my wife. I probably won't though because of my job.

A person from a tribe in Africa or New Guinea, a few thousand years ago. Pretty sure about that one, but don't have any sources... Too lazy to Google it right now.

I was watching msnbc the show Lockup and a guy in prison did that to his tongue too useing a shank.
I personally dont think its worth it, people having tongues like that, despite the assumed pleasures people might think it gives others. The tongue will never heal after that. It kinda makes me feel uneasy looking at that gif. I dont agree with it.

You can get it sewn back up and looking pretty new. I had stretched ears up to 2 inches and I got them sewn up and I look like I never had them. Body mod reversal surgery can end up looking pretty accurate.

How much did that cost ya to get it back to normal? Always wondered how much it would cost to "fix" gauged ears.

Holy shit. I had mine out to 1 1/4 and one got ripped out in a fight.
(The faggots dad held me down while I was on top of him, and he put his finger through it.)
That was a freebie cause of insurence, but they offered to match the other one for $350.
I turned them down, and I'm just about to repierce and start stretching again now that the scar seems to be gone for the most part.
I'm kind of glad, I went way too fast last time, and they were pretty thin and uneven, this time I'm going to go much slower, so it doesn't end up ripping at the scar.
My other ear healed to 1/2" naturally, and I'm pretty confident I could get it almost to close by myself, but I'd rather not.

What about the likely speech impairment from such a procedure.
You would have to learn to speak again and have a lishp for quite a while.

Yeah I didn't have insurance at the time so that's why lol. And yeah I kinda miss having them too, I went too fast at one point but taking them out more often and sleeping with them out helped a lot with thickening them.
They were a hassle sometimes though. Never had anyone rip them but I remember in high school I had to go outside for a science experiment and I got my ear caught in a tree branch. Also every time I turned my head they would flap against my neck, that got kind of irritating sometimes.
Not to mention all the ridiculously annoying comments I got. "Didn't that hurt?" Multiple times a week, and "You look like you came from an African tribe" I got that one pretty often also lol.

God this thread is cringeworthy, and I'm not usually too affected by gore. Most bodily modifications just seem like unnecessary pain. And the mentions of people being attacked through body mods and jewelry hurts to read. I wear nothing except for maybe a ring once in awhile.

OH FUCK THIS IS THE WORST!! <---- That was pretty much my face upon reading that, except with more sideways convulsions. 30 minutes of that type of pain and halfway through you'd probably start hallucinating and it might even feel good.

any thoughts?
It won't mess with 99.9% of the consumer electronics out there. It may have some influence on equipment with CRT's (old-style tv's and computer screens) if you come really close (distorted colors), but that's because they rely on electrons flying absurdly large distances through a vacuum while being directed using magnets. Your finger magnet will mildly distort the image, but unless you have a freaking strong-ass magnet in your finger (which would be incredibly annoying with keys etc. sticking to your finger), it won't cause permanent damage. Of course, all modern equipment uses LCD's or OLED's and they aren't affected by mild magnetic fields. The magnet also won't noticeably influence the functioning of other semiconductors in phones, computers and other sorts of equipment. So it's pretty harmless, as long as the usual medical precautions are taken when implanting the magnet.
Regarding the split tongue: it sure looks kinky, and I guess the temporary lisp would be sort of sexy as well, but other than a few tattoos and piercings, I think body modifications are a bit over the top. But each to his own. I don't expect others to agree with some of my own arcane preferences in some areas.

if it works for them/they can live with it easily enough... who cares?
i dont really feel like it should be any ones choice but theres whether or not to have a forked tongue.
though it is kind of weird. i bet i could get used to it real fast.
for the record... i don't want a forked tongue myself, ever. i like my tongue in one piece.
