Iboga and addiction
    #14536269 - 05/30/11 02:22 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

When you take opiates, it seems as if life pasts by while you float in a dream. The days turn into a year and soon you realize you have no recollection of the year that pasted by.

Furthermore if you try to give it up you are tormented by the withdrawals for weeks not to mention the severe depression that accompanies this and doesn't seem to ever go away because the underlining issue that caused you to take opiates was never 100% truly resolved.

iboga seems to be the answer. This plant overtakes your body for 3 day. It takes you on a roller coaster ride into the very depths of your being. By the end you have no urge to go back, no withdrawals, and you been taught the lessons you needed.

Being that iboga is somewhat illegal in the US, I'm not too sure on how to get a hold of it without paying an arm and a leg. Even thou it would be well worth it, I don't have the money to afford the going rate. Does anyone have any advice, info, experience or know where to get this plant?

If you have a legitimate addiction, seek help. From what I understand, there are many treatment centers in the US that offer the Ibogaine experience.

Mexico has some clinics that deal with ibogaine therapy.

I can't afford to go to any treatment center. I'm a student with basically no job. I barely make enough to pay rent. The only thing I can afford would be to go thru the experience by myself

You can't take it on your own and expect it to cure your addiction. You need iboga therapy, not just ibogaine.

Please don't tell me I can't do something. The truth is anyone can do anything they want if they put their mind and heart to it. So please if you cant answer my question, don't answer at all.

If it doesn't work then at least I get some kind of experience out of it, rather then staying at home with my thumb up my a** thinking I can't do it.

If people thought like this nothing would get accomplished in this world

btw Howard Lotsof took ibogaine mostly by himself when he first discovered its healing properties for addiction.

I'm not trying to disrespect you, I just find it wrong when someone says you can't do it

I didn't say you can't do it. I just think you should keep your expectations very low.

Also, please read more carefully before you respond. Not trying to be a dick, but if I were to be a dick about it I would have said, "Work on your reading comprehension." A friendly way to insult people, but insulting none the less.

Read the whole sentence, asshole. You can't take it on your own AND EXPECT IT TO CURE YOUR ADDICTION. I'm not saying you can't cure your addiction with it, I'm just saying that it's very unlikely that it will work. Don't get your hopes up and find yourself disappointed.

Well, ignoring the friendly diatribe above, I think you'd need to order some iboga. (I refer you to Google.)
And you will have to pay the "going rate."
If you don't have money for the ticket, you're not going to take the ride...

Can't really discuss sources on the Shroomery too, so not sure what you want out of this thread.

Good luck.

hey smokey im sort of in the same position , i've done a lot of research and nothing leads me to believe having someone else around does anything other than help guide you through the trip. in my experience sometimes doing psychadelics alone is much more psychologically rewarding. its the biochemical and psychological effect of the drug which sometimes cures addiction. just be sure your good and god damn ready!

in regards to sources ive done quite a bit of research and the first one that comes up in google is the best review wise and price wise! lots of sites from camaroon are scams from what ive heard.

if you have any friends here in canada get it shipped here to avoid legal stuff... then just get them to....

i've just done enough research that i feel ready and comfortable with that vendor so im gonna be ordering some within the next couple weeks. gotta get off the bupe and cigs i want my memory and clarity of mind back and i dont like depending on substances.

anyway good luck dude, hope the shit works for you, make sure you at least have someone who knows your doin it and can check up on ya! take care bud.

Right. The main reason to have someone with you is to babysit and guide you through the experience. Also your guide would provide you with everything you would need, not only during, but after the experience as well.

A reason why some people strongly suggest iboga houses is because they have the experience needed to guide you into a drug free life. Most people don't take the time to do the extended research necessary and gather the correct resources needed to help them through their journey. Sometimes, by attending these centers, they hand over their sovereignty; they take iboga unaware and falsely led

If you go in this with awareness, a strong heart and intention, knowing where you are going with this and all the possible outcomes, along with everything mentioned above then you will be guided by the best guide to do the job, yourself! Putting the Power back into your own hands.

Being in America I dont know of any vendors, nor can I discuss them here. Many of the sites, that are legit, state that they dont ship to USA. So I'm not really too sure on where to get it. If you, or anyone else, have any idea then could you private message me or send me an email?  :peace:

Sorry if this is against the rules, if so, take it off. thx
