Species 2:

I think I left picking a day or two too late, we had some great rain and cold but by the time I got there a fair few of them were slightly bug eaten and beginning to rot I think. I left a decent amount of the younger baby ones (are they called pins?) untouched so maybe if i head back in a few days there will be some good ones there. Thoughts? In my haste I also picked a large amount of species 2 and it was only after I got home I realised there were two different species and divided them using their gill colour. They were both in the same bag, would this matter if they dropped spores on the other species?

Does anyone have any thoughts on the two different species being in the same bag, whether or not that will matter when eating the subs?

It's bad hunting practice due to difficulties in id'ing them once you get home, asides from that there is no other problems I am aware of.
The blueing has been shown to transfer onto other material (other muahrooms included) when actives are wet in many posts here.
Edit for clarity.
