I don't know what's going to happen to me tomorrow, but I'm not afraid. I don't know how to solve certain complicated math problems, but such problems don't scare me.

Not every unknown is a cause for fear..I agree, though, that there will always be fear present in death. :death:

Maybe fear was the wrong word, anxiety would be better. There will always be a small level of anxiety in every unknown, even if it isn't detectable :tongue2:

I have absolutely no reserved anxieties regarding what will happen tomorrow, nor do I get anxious when I can't solve a math problem..I get frustrated, but not anxious.

Another example would be staring into the night sky..I don't know if there are intelligent aliens somewhere out there, and this lack of knowledge doesn't cause me anxiety in the least.

Not all unknowns are anxiety-provoking, your bare declaration that they are isn't evidence at all.

The fundamental reason for many of our behaviors is death anxiety.

I often ponder that question. I doubt it is all but it's close I'll bet. I also wonder what humans would be doing with all there energy were we not tormented by death anxiety.  I would pay good money to know.

No, not all..reflexes (a type of behavior), like for example the patellar reflex, have absolutely nothing to do with death anxiety.

Posture and balance help perpetuate life, sounds like an involuntary bodily response to keep us alive thus trek further away from death.

Do you have a point? It's funny that you think you do.:lol:

How do you figure involuntary bodily responses relate to death anxiety? :undecided:

Just because that reflex helps keep us alive & helps us "trek further away from death" doesn't mean that there is a connection between it and death anxiety.
