Great stuff il give Sainsbury’s a look although I imagine my local won’t have it as it’s notoriously shit lol. Also I don’t know the price on joining biscuits compared to dowels but would they not work just as well? Or is it something to do with the surface area?

you can use any brown rice, and then stick it in a blender/ coffee bean grinder, get that shit floured up. doesn't matter if there's a few lumps in it I always use organic, but I've seen lots of trusted cultivators saying that doesn't matter

This is an electric one, 18L, I think that's the inside basket size though, and you should be able to use a trivet to run it without the inside liner bin.
EDIT: I can't verify how well it works btw ,it's a made in china model, but it's cheap as hell for an electric sterilizer. Doesn't look like it has a metal-to-metal seal n all that, so there might be some parts to replace down the road.

Haha she'll love it. I leave mine out on the cooker. People are shocked at the size of it. I tell em I grow mushrooms and start to bore them about myce and the fruits. They soon stop asking what things are. Like the bright light coming from the cupboard with the loud fan.

Yeah i'm using a sab, big 110lt and if I am honest i've not even put that much time in it since upgrading from the cardboard box, but your right the little agar i've done in it has been very clean.
The Flow hood looks so easy, Expanding the mushy's would be trivial

Some flow hood on eBay for about 400 quid. Some Spanish bloke does a review with em. I was interested but I'm gonna splash out on one when I build my lab.
