Been looking at ebay for a while now, shit is expensive and it doesn't look like there will be any good deals. Don't even get me started on the Waring ones, that shit will vaporize your butthole altogether.
You trying to make a slurry? I bought a few parts - blades / rubber gasket to fit into a mason jar - i modified it to run on a drill. Problem was the gasket was slightly too thick resulting in me being unable to seat the mason lid to hold the blades in. I tried some gasket paper instead but no good.
Yes, for slurry.
I thought about buying the blades only but I really don't have any time atm to fabricate anything. The rubber gasket you used came with the blade?

Yea, EU. Presto is a nice buy, expensive but I don't regret it one bit. Paid like 200eur for mine.

a good PC is an investment for sure. mine was 110 total in pounds. I think thats a good price for it.

Can't really elaborate on that on here, my country is really small. Basically everyone in the same age group either knows each other or at least knows someone who knows you.

How did you find your presto? Is it hassle free or do you have to monitor it to make sure it stays at 15psi?
Can anyone give me advice on pressure cookers, please? Although I'd love to buy an AA, it's little too costly for right now.
Choice 1 - I'm thinking about the 23qt presto which has a gauge but no weights - about 110 quid
+separate weights - 13 quid
OR
Choice 2Hawkins 18 Litre Big Boy Aluminium Pressure Cooker £118.00 FREE UK delivery
any thoughts?
Huh separate weights? It goes to 15 psi as standard I'm sure. Haven't actually used it yet tho mind. Need to sort out some plates or LC first so I can then do a large batch and shoot those babies all up!

well i wasn't sure if i would need the weights. if it stays at 15psi then thats fine obviously. I was just unsure about how much it would need to be monitored.
yeh i'm looking forward to a grow. waiting to pc some jars ready for G2G from the 4 colonising jars I have.

Anyone know where to source a 16g sharp needle for LC? Equally, do blunt needles work fine? Hence my original question

Ebay, livestock vet clinics/shops. I think blunt needles work as well, they might tear your ports a bit more though.

You can file down blunt needles to get them sharp.

Has anyone from the UK ever used this?

Interested to hear what results you ended up with if you ever used it. Says it's made in the UK so I thought I'd give you guys a shoutout.

I suppose that's wet tho? I thought it needed to be dry for use? Otherwise I'll get one and let you know !

Store bought can be wet because every store poo is composted to some extent. Fresh poo will have ammonia so either composting or field aging/leaching will get rid of that. The problem with stuff like this is that it has some mulch or pieces of wood more often than not. I was told it shouldn't be a big problem but you never know. Knowing my luck with bulk subs, I wouldn't be surprised if this thing sucks balls since I can get it at such a low price

Not really mush cult related but does anyone know if european paint thinner is the equivalent of what they call naphta in the US? I was told that paint thinner and naphta is the same over there but I also saw a couple of threads on the interwebs from Europeans ranting about not being able to find a suitable substitute.
I am interested in buying some MHRB and just wanted to see if I can find everything I need before I go spending cash on something I can't extract.

No, paint thinner is not good. Don't try to mess with solvents without a fume hood and access to lab grade solvents.
