Hit me up for an ATL #7 syringe if ya need it bro. Gonna check my Ps. Cyanescens spot on Friday, can't wait, it was bountiful to say the least last year..
Also going walking on the cliffs/hills in Cornwall tomorrow, could be some good Lib spots I think, still haven't explored this area for P. Sem as I found a fuckton of Ps. Cyan last year in a car park!!

good vibes on the cyans, I've never seen one or had even heard of one until I discovered this site, I thought libs were the only uk ones out there
plus for anyone looking for a pressure cooker, this might help...

it's only 4 litres, and only 33% off, but might be better than nowt...

Just bought 20k of HPOO from Wyevale Garden centre.
Probably not big news, but I was surprised to see it in the city and so cheap!
(never found fucking coir though, despite going to 2 pet stores and 3 garden centres!)

Not the cheapest by any means.. been a few years since I bought one, but you can probably find a high-top Prestige for similar money, parts for those are very easy to get.
I got my first 12ltr. pc 2nd hand, had never been used and I picked it up for £10.
That one doesn't look too bad though in all honesty, just pays to look around, or just buy a massive one straight away as you will no doubt want to use it in a few months. Good idea to buy a gasket or 3 when you purchase a cooker, some of these lesser known brands just disappear and spares later on down the road can be bothersome to attain.
Anytime someone posts in this thread you can be sure 3-4 of us will reply, Base Icks started it up and deserves full credit, but a few of us longer-term UK members have loved this thread like a child, we won't let it die.

I'm really only looking for a second PC, as today I'll be doing 8-10 hours of PCing...
I'm a recreational/personal grower so can't see a need for a bigger one, I've done ok so far with my 6l prestige but only getting a few jars in at a time is a bit of a slog, even when only trying to do a mini-mono. Having 2 on the go at once would seem to be a good solution.
I'm mainly hoping to move towards sclerotia in the future (once I can get a clean culture!) along with smaller cube grows so I can't foresee myself needing a massive PC to do bags or anything.
I'll probably pick that one up, if I do I'll post here how it is! I think I've already got some of the parts of it, as I replaced my valves on my current PC with ones that look very like them and they work well.

I started off using 2. I know you weren't a total noob or I would have found you links etc.
I just like being able to fit 5 x 1000ml mason jars at a time, if you are moving to sclerotia I would highly recommend those jars, I was pulling 250g+ from each of those. Stones are where it's at, people love them too, I have friends who won't eat mushrooms at all that love the sclerotia for some reason. Plus the fruits are amazing.
Got a good link for those jars if you are interested, may even be a sale on there at the moment, I know they were doing 30% off lids recently.

Yeah that'd be handy - I think I saw a link you posted with lids, but didn't see the jars at that time.
Would the above PC fit them, or would I have to go big/expensive?
Where did you get your initial culture from btw? I have ordered from Av*** and Az*** and got contaminated cultures from both, I've ended up having to try cloning a stone again to get a trich-free culture!

Hi guys.
I can't take all the credit Ego Questio made the original thread. I only made this becuase the other got closed by RR, and I used to be quite active on the site... Then real life took over. I've been a rarity around here for a year or so.
For pc's I would recommend the ho dome 6L prestiges like Egodeathflux said, if your staying small time. I ran 3 of them for a while
But to be honest... they are a blag. I'd suggest getting what Fractalxplora has. Its one of the army surplus pc's called a SEB I thin they are 18L. They're bomb proof and can be cheap if you can find one in working order. Used to be able to find working ones for 60 ish quid. I only first heard about them after I bought my Hawkings 14L other wise I'd have one. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13955082#13955082
As for a clean stone culture its part of the game. Cloning a stone is a good way to go. Just hope that the culture isn't tooo old to begin with.. Though I got a lot of use out of a clone for a while and know quite a few others that have and may even still be using it and its been a year or two at least.
Good luck all.

Get it before i do... Mrs. Icks would kill me though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HUGE-COMMERCIAL-CATERING-PRESSURE-COOKER-SEB-FRANCE-8018-18-LITRE-UNUSED-/330800750309?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Kitchen_Cookware_GL&hash=item4d0542dee5&_uhb=1#ht_481wt_1357
These are getting rarer by the day. I havent see none in ages..... I cant find another one thats been listed in a while on ebay. If your even thinking about getting a pc and using it on a regular-ish basis. I would get one of these hands down. I regret not getting one when i invested in a pc.

Great link, I'll keep an eye on that! Also watching another prestige high top to see what that goes for.
I actually clicked back a page and found the guy recommending this from Amazon.com which he got for £71 quid delivered, maybe a good option for people that need a larger PC

Actually.... I forgot about the presto.... Its worth a try if you can get it through customs without having to pay fees. I think he got lucky with not having to pay vat and custom fees. I had did some maths once to get one shipped here including the proper fees that should have been applied and it was a big number from what I remember.
If you can get one shipped for 71 quid and not get hung up by HRMC do it!(just be wary)

I swear I had a place that was doing 1000ml Mason jars for £1.89 or something..
Cheapest I can find right now are these guys at £2.29 a pop : http://www.philipmorrisdirect.co.uk/rayware-kilner-preserving-glass-jar-single/product/ , but I've only looked at sellers I remember from a year or 3 back.. Didn't do the whole google thang.
These guys^^ do discounts on cases sometimes, I think I even convinced them over the phone once to do 10% off, always pays to ask these things.
There might be cheaper ones buried in this thread but I am a little busy, if anyone finds them at a good price post it up, I wouldn't mind another 24 for a new project I'm hoping top start early next year..
