Where do you buy 1liter or 32oz jars? I found 12x 1liter kilner jars for £30.50 on amazon. Is that a good price?

Those are what I use. I haven't tried others but they've served me well. Just ordered another 24.

Hmmm, I've only used wbs before, is there much difference in the prep if using just white millet, I feel like the jars would be a lot more densely packed.

If you look in my signature I have a comparison. Everyone stays with white millet once they find it. Its easy to see contams, quick and super easy to prep....oh and cheap. You will thank me later, ask Kerbs

Ok I'm sold, I'll grab a bag of millet and see what the craic is... wish I hadn't just bought another 20kg of WBS tho 😂. I just sank about £150 into expanding my materials and equipment. Finally getting around to starting a big rotation as opposed to occasional monos.

Word up Uk peeps. I’m about to case some atl’s and everyone says use a mix of sand and jiffy mix.
What’s our alternative to ‘jiffy’ mix?
And any ideas where I could get a small quantity of sand from? Really don’t need a lot and space is an issue with me.
Hope everyone’s keeping good

I have this https://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/pets-at-home/desert-sand-5kg. Unless its a fruiter its not worth it, just spawn to CV.

Interesting reading.
I saw that desert sand actually, they do bird sand as well I wonder if that would be any good. So you used peat and sand then? Rekon I’ll be casing in the next week so I’ll let you know how it gets on
