Bargain!
I’m pretty sure I’ve fucked one of my shoeboxes up and let it dry out, first time doing them trying to work out the best way

Yeah, this set up is great as the biggest mushrooms hit the roof and keep going. Its where I found out if you take the cap off the stem keeps growing. I cant remember who copied me, maybe kerbs....... Id like to know how its working for others. This combo was like they were made for each other. There is no 1 mm of space they fit absolutely with zero mm between

I've tried searching for decent quality horse manure, the reviews on woodland horse manure are terrible. A lot of people saying it's mainly wood chippings. Would appreciate some info on where to get some from!

Just use coir and vermiculite. Its all you need.
U need to find aged manure and pasteurize it.
All grown on either str8 coir or cv

Has anybody got any pe varity spore prints or rw?
Spore vendors are down until the end of April. Current shoeboxes are 2 weeks away from harvest I think and I've got no prints made 😏. I've got all of the materials ready to enter the world of agar and nothing to use with it. I'd love to have something to do other than walking from room to room in the house.
If anybody can help a brother out or point me in a direction I'd more than grateful.

Well those shots speak for themselves. I just thought of adding manure in future grows to increase yeild. What variety is the second photo in?

Yes it is for sure as long as you have supplies haha. My arse has been twitching but my hepa filter will be here tomorrow and petri dishes. Been worried that they wouldnt get here with everything haha. Doves farm isnt stocking any rye atm so I'm hoping they sort that out soon.

I know the feeling! I’ve just ordered a mini fridge for cultures etc as I seem to be amassing quite a few and I’m probably not gonna be able to get everything going at once. But as far as I know online delivery’s etc seem to be going ok. Also ordered a 10l bag of verm of eBay as I’d ran out, stung for £8 but it’s here now so can crack on lol.
Hopefully your shit will arrive ok. Good luck with the hood build, it’s a game changer

I've recently got myself a PC and I want start using grains. Sourcing certain grains is proving difficult.
I have read all of this thread. I've seen many don't like oats. Why is that?
Americans refer to rye berries, I haven't found those here. Is there a UK equivalent? What should I be searching for?
At the moment, I'm thinking of trying whole wheat. The prep looks easy enough and the price / availability is good.
Burnhill's Whole wheat
Without any previous experience it's difficult make a decision. I know supply and price are important factors. What do you use, why and where do you get them from please
