I live close to Clapham Junction, so yeah, shit got smashed up.

has anyone got any mex A spores for sale or trade?
tryed a certain vendor here, but they have failed me twice now. when i finally got my hands on a mex a syringe there were no spores visibly clumped up in the syringe i thought o well they are microscopic so they must be in there somewhere. I have used all the syringe whilst shaking the fuck outa it, mainly putting drops onto agar. Nothing nadda zilch.
i am aware that these are harder to fruit then galandoi and so people selling these spores are likely to dilute the soloution alot more to spread it out. Has anyone had any positive experiences with getting hold of mex a spores recently? if so could you tell me where you got them from? sporeworks wont let u order without phoning an american number! not sure how much that will cost.
any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

You can definatly grow cubes in the UK without any heating at the minute. I even stuck the substrate out of a monotub in a bin bag and it fruited

my freinds incubation area is too cold its usually 18.8*C -20*C in the day time I hate to think how cold it gets at night- and the mycellium is very slow to grow through jars !!! they have become extremely patient because of this but they've had enough and it is taking the piss so i have been considering different solutions for em. Im not really keen on the idea of a TIT as A. rather not add any humidity into the room and B. it wouldn't be spacious enough.
thinking of getting an oil filled heater with thermostat. Not sure which 1 to get, its giving us a right headache trying to decide. Has any1 else here had any positive experiences with oil filled heaters, dont want 1 that is going to rape the electricity bill XD
ive read so many conflicting reviews now that i have gone bonkers. can anyone help steer me in the right direction and help the myc to thrive.
p.s @ mashedglassess i hope you manage to fruit them and get a print or two. you can get the injection ports off ebay... same as link above but a bit cheaper. i have bought the blue ones. but someone has started selling the grey 1s aswell. gotta get them from usa. but they come in about a week and worth it if you get a whole bunch of em... look very professional on your jars

Have you got a cupboard you can put the oil filled rad in, will keep the bills down a little
I cant really see how its too cold, ive not heated my incubation room or fruiting room all summer, and everythings been fine. I even stuck a monotub outside and it fruited.

I used to use a TIT, but changed in favour of just heating the room in winter. I use a normal electrical fan space heater with a temperature cutoff. You can get those for a few quid on Amazon, at Argos, etc. I didn't notice any unreasonable spike in electricity bills this winter, although I do worry somewhat about fire risk.

hello there...
i need an alternative to chinsol or cheshunt compound for preventing damping off fungus on my cacti. ive found bordeaux mixture, but i did like chinsol, cos it was easily stored and prepared. (little plastic bag in the drawer)
it seems that, for whatever reason neither of these products are on the market any more. i foyu have any suggestions, i'd be happy to hear them.
