There's already Calea Zacatechichi.
Will you be skydiving after smoking DMT or on a MAOI + smoked DMT combo?

I use Silene Capensis instead of calea, I find it to be much more effective but still it doesn't cause a whole bunch of lucid dreams every night
What I want to make is something that will cause the individual to quickly fall asleep after smoking or making food out of this herb. Ideally it would cause either a 16 hour tolerance(for regular sleep cycle) or no tolerance. It would activate the part of the brain associated with consciousness while in a sustained REM sleep, it would make sure that for those 8 hours they slept soundly while the individual Lucid Dreams. We could set up a way to get out of the dream if need be by setting up a certain part of the dream body to correlate with its waking self, so if you blink your dream eyes quickly your waking eyes would open. A failsafe must always be had
Somehow the individual would need to find a way to get non-rem sleep in order to learn and consolidate short term memory, perhaps there is a way to speed this up by diverting more energy to it and the only reason it takes so long is to maintain a circadian rhythm and allow the body to rejuvenate on a cellular level.
This could all be accomplished in the beginning of the dream followed by a good 8 hours of lucidity
But before that lucidity the REM must be activated, that way the individual would be within the dream before they become Lucid for a smooth transition into that state. The transition would be accomplished with delayed action affects on the conscious section of the brain
It would have to be engineered of course
In terms of the DMT I would do it separate from caapi, I don't want it lasting too long and getting me killed and if I die anyway well fuckit

Interested in drugs which can:
- Temporarily alter sexual preference - Temporarily alter perceived physical attractiveness - Attenuate jealousy - Simulate the emotions of being in love and of having sex - Facilitate forgiveness between parties
And other stuff. A cannabanoid based cure for male pattern baldness wouldn't hurt either.
Keep me posted

Yes, turning two hot lesbians into horny cock lovers would be nice
The other day I was reading about a drug that would produce chemicals usually released after sex, ones that involve trusting a partner.
This sort of thing could be used for so much drink spiking/psychological manipulation if it got into the wrong hands

I would definitely love to have that as I have pursued oneiromancy on and off with the beginning of this year being heavily dedicated to it with my oz of calea.
How is Silene? I've heard it far surpasses calea but it's tricky to use correctly.

I think I want to be a visual artist. I don't know. It seems really hard. Really hard. I've tried and it's ... it's fucking hard man. I mean that everything I do falls short of what I know real quality is. But I do know what real quality is. I have seen it, and I have imagined it. And if I can imagine it ... it has to be possible to manifest it in the world. That's the rule. You just need the technique. And the technique just takes trial and error. I haven't committed to this yet. I've hardly embarked on any trials, and I'm still very phobic of making errors. Goddamn public school burned it into my mind that an erroneous response is a "wrong" answer. But if I can overcome that, if I can view error as progress instead of failure, then I can pursue this dream. I can show the things that I've imagined. And I can better my imagination ... but if and only if I can overcome the phobia of failure.
I ought to do more mushrooms.

What do you want to do with your life, if it were possible?
Follow my path to its fruition then help others to do the same. AKA Become enlightened and become a Dharma Teacher.
How sure are you that this is The Big One?
100%. I want nothing else. I know nothing else will satisfy me or give me what I want.
Is it a goal you work towards?
Everyday, but I could always be doing more, and wish I had the willpower to do more.
How big do you see your odds of succeeding?
I know I will.
Once I am able and have taken care of the things I need to do, come late 2012 or early 2013 I plan on leaving for Thailand to ordain as a Buddhist Monk - or if I don't vibe with any of the monastery or monastic life I will do something else to work towards my goal. Either way I plan on renouncing the world for a few years and really putting some work in.

Personally, I want to own a little land in the middle of nowhere with a few dogs and cats and maybe a cow. I want to be self-sufficient--grow and produce as much of my own needs as I can. Basically, I want to separate myself from society.

backpack around the world, staying in each place for a few months, working and learning and checking out the culutre there. however i do believe that in order to work in a different country i'll need a working visa, and i'm pretty sure that could take a while to get. so a more probable version of that dream would be to hit up a few places, working and living and learning and growing at one spot for a year or more, then move on to a new place i'd like to check out.
^i'm not sure how likely that is to happen. however i'd be quite happy living self-sufficiently in a secluded forest/mountaneous region, growing my own food and living off the grid. it would take a LOT of work to get to that point, but i've been stepping in the right direction

I've been backpacking recently and its been hell of a journey. Seemed like a dream from my apartment but when you get out there lifes super tough. Pick pockets, people trying to rob me cuz I'm a white man in a brown mans country...
Just getting water became a massive issue when I got into the wild. The water sources I did manage to aquire were foul. The lack of good food and a good bed, the outdoors, rain, cold, heat noise, soon starts to drag you down from the lack of good sleep, lack of good food and difficulty of obtaining water + hiking all day / working to aquire the survival things.
Keeping clean without a shower is another whole issue. I had a solar shower but just getting decent water and heating it is a problem. My camp got discovered eventually and looted or removed by cops. No idea except it was gone.
I just started on this journey and its been so much tougher than I ever expected... the spiritual revelation of being alone was amazing and destoying though. You really start to face yourself. I found myself remembering all the bad experiences in my life and I was in tears of the surpressed memories. Suddenly you have to face up to things we in modern life distract ourselves from with our entertainments and POSSESions....
I think its good to try it though but dam... its a tough world...
