You got that quote from the movie Slacker didn't you? You know there is going to be a remake of it at the end of August filmed by 23 Austin filmmakers. Looks like it will be good. I liked Slacker.

I think it will catch on soon enough. It's a trend that continues to grow each year
Has your state even had any votes on MMJ?
Arizona is pretty damn conservative, it took several years but we finally managed to pass something. I would have though Arizona would have been one of the last states to pass MMJ reform.

I could be wrong, but I don't think we've ever even had the opportunity to vote on MMJ.
There is a GA NORML but they're not very active compared to other states.

That sucks, I believe it took us several votes here before it finally got passed last year.
All you can do is play your part really. Vote when you can and do whatever you can to help get it on the ballot. I know I had signed petitions in order to help get it to a vote in my state.
Or just move to a state where it is already legalized for medical use. If you know your shit it really isnt moving for marijuana, it's moving to start a career in a field that you have experience in. At least that's how I would look at it

Ya,it's not as if you smoking on your own time has anything to do with anything, you know?
You could be so hungover after booze that it would completely negatively affect your work performance.
Well if I can't find a flower picking job or something else I'll go volunteering on a farm in exchange for food and a bed or a spot to tent. Should be fun either way.
Yeah I've heard that trimming isn't as fun as it sounds, but shit. I think it would be much more rewarding than some boring-ass corporate job, you know? I still have a far-fetched dream to run a dispensary/be a grower one day..
And good luck with the farm thing
Definitely, working on your own time, sampling the dried produce as you go
I had that dream before but it just seems more of a pipe dream really. Who knows what'll have changed in ten years time though.

yes
i really like it. even though the people are ridiculous it makes you sort of sympathize with them in some way. maybe. i didn't know they are making a remake. that should be really interesting to see how they portray austin culture back then to how it is now.

I definitely plan on getting a job at one once they laws are all finalized. I know the bill has passed here, however I dont think dispensaries have actually opened yet

Yeah..you never know what's gonna happen. If it ever does become legal or if my state gets MMJ you can bet I'll be doing everything I can to get a job as a grower or working at a dispensary. I would be set for life

Yeah, my boyfriend actually doesn't like it either. It's certainly not the ONLY thing I like. I like cologne and I also like Old Spice too. And not all Axe smells good to me, but some of them do. I think that snake peel one or snakeskin one or whatever it's called is my favorite.
I'm more interested to know how many women like it. Maybe it's marketed to make women drawn to it and ward men off?

it would be interesting to see the market research on this. i don't think they designed the scent to ward men off, but if it happened to actually attract men that would probably be a disaster. i guess men are usually turned off by manly scents though, and vice versa.

Yeah that's true. But to get the men to buy the scents for themselves, they have to at least like them a little, right? Especially expensive colognes and stuff.
I am a perfume-aholic though. I have at least 15 different scents on my dresser right now

there is this woman at work that trails perfume scents within like 15 feet of wherever she walks. and i do find myself automatically thinking sexual thoughts about her. but i think she is married. i don't understand why women wear perfume if not to excite the opposite sex.

That sounds like overkill to me. I can't stand when women smell so strongly of perfume that it just knocks you down. I do like it when they walk by and you subtly get a whiff of it though. And personally, I wear perfume for myself, not to excite anyone else. I like to smell good.
