You can't just "go to the lake" anymore..

It's like you have to put on sunscreen, and insecticide...it's so oppressive.

Only difference is way back whenever they didn't have sunscreen or insecticide. You don't have to get sunburned and bitten anymore  :Awemush:

You find the choice to put on sun screen to prevent burning and insecticide to prevent yourself from getting bitten by bugs as oppressive?

:lolsy:

I hate it too. Just to go outside to sit at our lake in my back yard, I have to load up with insecticide. I have at least ten or fifteen mosquito bites all over my body right now. They love me. I guess my blood is very sweet or something.

Also, when I was a kid I stayed outside ALL day. I got so dark and tan I used to be teased and called a "little n*****" by my grandparents. Now when I go outside, I'm like a vampire. I nearly burn on contact

I miss being a kid sometimes.

When I was young I remember going in the woods for hours on end and only finding 1 or 2 ticks on me when I got home. Now I go in the woods for 30 minutes and come out with 4 or 5.

If only..ahh to be able to smoke freely as I please in my back yard. Nope, I have to be all stealth about it in my room at night. I can't wait to move out.

Not to mention now I am on smoking hiatus because I got a job interview.

That's crazy that most if not all jobs over there require drug testing.

Hope to get some work abroad in the next week or two. Would prefer to be doing something outdoors, picking flowers or something.

Yeah, its pretty fucked up. I've been really irritated about it lately because the job I have right now doesn't drug test, so I've never been subjected to this nonsense before. I think it's an invasion of privacy. What should matter is that I get to work on time and do my job, not what I do in my free time

And lol, I wish I could find a job picking flowers. Preferably psychedelic budz.

Have you tried using a different body wash or soap. Fragrant and sweet smelling soaps attract mosquitoes, especially Axe chocolate. A bunch of guys on deployment in the pacific used it and got eaten the fuck up. I used dial mostly.

Mmmmm Axe..:drooling: If I were a guy, that's what I would use.

I might have to try that though. I do tend to load up with sweet smelling body washes and perfumes.

Haha,a while back I helped a buddy cut down like four plants and trim the buds. Not as fun as it sounds really, was all sped out too:lol: Got green out of it though:awesome:

Ya,it's not as if you smoking on your own time has anything to do with anything, you know?

You could be so hungover after booze that it would completely negatively affect your work performance.

Well if I can't find a flower picking job or something else I'll go volunteering on a farm in exchange for food and a bed or a spot to tent. Should be fun either way.

So true, every morning I go out on my porch for my daily wake n' bake and I've never had a problem with bugs... but any other time I'm getting bitten all over.

Yeah I've heard that trimming isn't as fun as it sounds, but shit. I think it would be much more rewarding than some boring-ass corporate job, you know? I still have a far-fetched dream to run a dispensary/be a grower one day..

And good luck with the farm thing :sunny:

I think you share that dream with millions of other people. You should look into Arizona, they are just passing and regulating medical marijuana here. This is the next big state to get involved with a dispensary in.

I definitely plan on getting a job at one once they laws are all finalized. I know the bill has passed here, however I dont think dispensaries have actually opened yet

Good luck with getting a job at one. You are lucky. I imagine Georgia will be the last state to get MMJ
