Federal property is typically controlled by the department using it.
If the space is leased there could be by laws between the department using it and the landlords.

gotta have a permit for a protest
And you are all about that right? Upholding the laws? What happeded to free speech?

When i visited these memorials, Everyone was pretty much quiet and taking it in and thinking about our forefathers and junk like that. To some people it means a lot to them, it gives them a connection to our past.
I find these people to be acting rather disrespectfully. Though I would have let them carry on.
They should have moved the mob to the White House.

That place is pretty big and by viewing this video I did not see them doing anything wrong. I doubt anyone would have truly gotten pissed off. And for the cops to show up and arrest them is borderline outrageous. Free speech is gone.

You're climing land ownership bc the folks on capitol hill told you you own it. That may be real ownership to you or to anyone else, and it works well for the way we have set up out civilization.
you realize that you just blew your philosophical idea right out of the water because in this world, it's what the majority believe that is the rule, I dont believe murder or theft should be a crime but the rest of the world does and I have to deal with their rules

Can't we all just get along and agree to disagree?
The cops in that video blew the situation way out of the water and just made themselves look bad. If they would have let them continue dancing then the protesters would have looked like idiots... I know they were just doing their job but they could have handled it better.

we can do without your trolling
and you need to learn the difference in condemnation of the actions of some jackasses determined to disrupt the outings of others in their attempts to seek attention and defense of the police.

go to the federal building and exercise your free speech by screaming that you have a bomb, call someone a few times and tell them you plan on killing them, tell us, at what point does free speech begin to step on the rights of others... what holds your rights to protest without permit and in areas it's disallowed above my rights

we already disagree, why must there be an agreement on it
had the cops not done their jobs they'd be reprimanded, the protesters would spam it all over youtube and claim it as a victory for what ever cause and encouraged more to do the shit leading to far worse things happening, why couldnt the protesters have just obeyed the law so the police didnt have to 'blow things out of proportion'

I think you blew that way way out of proportion. How do you know that affected anyone's outing? Were they going up to people and dry humping in that video?? I did not see thos people doing anything wrong.
They were trying to prove a point.

Again yelling I have a bomb at a tourist attraction compared to dancing is completely ridiculous.

everyone was ejected from the building thus disrupting the outings of many visitors that went there with the intent to enjoy their outing in the Jefferson memorial

of course you didnt, because you dont want to observe the law and you could give two shits about the rights of others, only what you believe your rights to be

would that point be that they're attention whoring jackasses because they certainly proved that

Everyone was ejected because the police themselves blew it out of proportion choking people and tossing them around. Of course they ejected everyone. Why would they want other people to see the abuse they inflict on other for simply dancing??
Why are you so hell bent on defending the police man I just dont get it??
