psychedelics help me to cut through all the archetypes, all the masks and personas of my day in and day out existence. it's just pure "me" being "me" (whatever the fuck that means ).
i've taken the time to begin integrating what i've experienced on psychedelics into my everyday existence.
and yes, i experience that "super being" feeling often when tripping. it's good.

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

I mean, everyone knows swim is you, so why go through the hassle of making everything a third-person view point, instead of making it simple and saying its you ? Again, it might just be me.
Anyways, I would say my view on the "super being" you were describing, well I noticed this on LSD, and I called it "all." It makes sense when you find it, I never truly understood when people said everything makes sense, or everything is all, but ever since I put the pieces together and saw the universe become an infinite void that goes deeper and deeper into itself changed my view.
I never had this feeling on shrooms, I think because when I shroom I mainly stare at things and think to myself about literally everything.
To be honest it kind of annoys me too. But the fact is, when people have their name and pictures of themselves online, they need to be really careful. Its all in the paperwork bullshit :/

Dawks said: Yes OP I certainly know what you're referring to. I've always felt that while on psychedelics I have a lot more ease/comfort with being myself. I stand with a more erect posture, I speak more fluently and generally feel like I'm 100% me. I remember realizing once on psychedelics that "damn I love my voice", while usually whenever I hear a recording of myself I cringe.
Another member on this forum has stated that he thinks this is due to the "anti-depressant" action of the psychedelics. That this feeling of well being is simply chemically induced, on par with an opiate high.
I however think it's a bit more complex than this. Sure psychedelics induce an overall sense of well being, but I have another theory as to this "superbeing": I think, we ARE this "superbeing" all the time. That we always have wonderful characteristics about ourselves. We are strong, smart, have a sexy voice and much more.
As we grow up though we are taught by society that "nobody likes a show off" and to "be modest". Self critism on the other hand is encouraged. Advertisements for instance tell us what we should buy to better ourselves, in doing so they are implying that we aren't already the best we can possibly be ("you'll only look good if you by this shirt", or "you'll only smell good if you wear this deodorant"). In the end our brain simply gets used to thinking that "I am a flawed being".
On psychedelics things change, it's like looking at life through a different lens. This lens however hasn't been greased by societys values. No, this lens is brand new. So what do we see when we look at ourselfs on psychedelics? OURSELVES! No preconceptions, no self critisism, just plain and simply what we are.
I think in that state we realize that we are the perfect being, we are the end result of 3 billion years of evolution, we are consciousness and IF we weren't here to experience it all NONE of it would exist.
Learn to love yourself, then love those around you the same way you love yourself. (As Jesus once said )

Wow great post, I'm glad to see someone who's literally on the exact same page. I'm reading a book on how to reprogram the brains biocomputer, so occurances that usually trigger a negative emotion, no longer have an effect on you. It's called the Handbook to Higher Consciousness. The book makes so much sense, it's awesome. It's pretty well known, and the reviews on the book are outstanding. Pick it up!

I also believe that I access the "best" version of myself with psychedelics (or, rather, a mindset which has me seeing myself and the world that way). I'm trying meditation to find out if I can access it permanently, as many in meditation have promised is possible.

Definitely, let me know if you begin to develope a technique to make it permanent. I believe it is because of the ego death that we allow ourselves to be who we want to be. If we can figure out a way to make our defensive egos work in harmony with the rest of our brain, maybe we unlock our true selves.

I have read many trip reports of people expressing that exact same feeling. I haven't tripped before but I hope to experience something like that.

I got the same idea a while back and so every time I trip I try to write down all the important epiphanies etc. I just had. Then I read them the next day, in the hopes that considering/following these ideas will lead me to your permanent "superbeing" state.
And it actually has helped me enjoy life quite a bit more, I think.

Ill have to give that a try. I've thought about doing it, because I would usually achieve awesome epiphanies, yet many of them I forget or don't put into use.
