Official Thread for Cacti That Don't Need a Separate Thread * 2
    #14527588 - 05/28/11 06:29 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Use this thread to show off cacti that don't need a whole separate thread.

I'll start with this little beauty from a big-chain hardware store.
There are offsets and branches as well as a flower, all there when I bought it.

Also,

Here is my Stetsonia coryne.

I was away for 2 years in hawaii and this poor guy stayed in a dormant stage the entire time. It was so shriveled and shrunken. This is the first season it has been outside and watered in 2 years and it has plumped back up and is putting out some new spines.

New spines.

EDIT: No perlite :grin::tongue2:

What's with the straw flowers anyway, why do they do that?
And are they hot glued? What's the best way to remove them?

Should ID requests be posted here?  I don't want to make a whole new thread if it's unnecessary.

Anyway, I know the pics suck, but what can you guys make of this?

ID requests probably would get faster responses as separate threads.
Doesn't look magical to me somehow, though I can't say what it is.
Looks a bit sickly but that could be the picture.
