Yes, a graft.

I didn't graft if myself - bought it already like this, and it's been steadily growing for a few years already.

Rootstock is selenicereus.

I have seeds of aztekium hintonii and ritterii coming and i know what to expect. I lost my 3- 3yrs plus seedlings to a really bad fall. Basically my damn shelves broke and they all got lost. I mean try and find seedlings less than 1mm small. I was finally seeing some significant growth after years. I fuckwd it up.

Seed pod collected, but only 10 seeds... i would have liked more. The color is natural, but i guess you have to pump it with a lot of sun. I had another exemplar that turned completely orange and eventually died, even if i tried to acclimatize to sun. Some exemplars just can't bear the same amount of sun, even if  same species. I was sad when it died because it was given to me by a great member of this community ( luckyly i have several plants from him that are doimg very well  )

But neoporteria occulta has really few spikes, and those are also short ones. Way different from the fragile long and curvy spines of the turbinicarpus genus.
