Down the rabbit hole Grow Room

This is the room i am going to be using for "microscopy purposes only."I have been cleaning it for about a week now removing ten+ years of dust.
The door is very small and inside a closet we nicknamed the room Narnia. The door opens up to a rather large attic space with wood floors and plaster walls.

There is a light in the middle of the room above the door I hope that and the windows will be sufficient light. They get no direct sunlight because it is on the north side of the building.

So far i have swept several times. Vacuumed the walls, floors, corners, ceiling nooks, rafters, and insulation. Mopped the whole floor once. But it still seams like a long way from clean. I plan on mopping one more time then covering the walls, floor, and ceiling with thick plastic.
I want to make a double door entry where I can store clean clothes. A fruiting area and also a small clean area to store the glove box, future agar, and colonizing grains/cakes. I was planing on sealing the plastic doors with velcro.
As far as furniture is concerned i want to have a chair and small table in the clean area and Shelves in the grow area to keep everything off the ground.
I want to know what you think all think and if I'm forgetting about anything.

sounds good mega. Wish I had one of those...I just had to build a room in my basement to use for grow, about to build another one for colonization so I can get my flowhood built.
The only thing I can think of w/ that room is the temperature. Are there are vents/ducts in it or are you going to have to rig a AC unit somehow?
I use velcro for the entrance of my room, just make sure to reinforce the plastic w/ duct tape once you've got the velcro in place, as the plastic will probably rip.
here's my room:

That last picture is of the door, light isn't hanging like that anymore.

Yeah I plan on putting one of those free standing ACs to keep it under 80 in there once it heats up, the mercury has been between 65 and 80 in the daytime for the last few weeks hopefully it keeps up.
Thanks for the duct tape info. That will save me from tearing the thing up in the future.
One question though what is that wooden thing your tubs are sitting on?

little tables I made to keep them off the floor...they were originally for my GH's but I tore those PITA's down.

Hell yeah that is exactly what i was thinking about a GH. I'm going to stick to tubs and SGFC.

I like monos better than GH's. GHs are a really fun experience though.

I really think that a GH would be too much uncontained humidity for that area.
The last thing you want in there is mold. I'd wrap all the walls w/ 4 mil plastic & then double layer it w/ 2x2's...well, triple layer it by the time you get to the 2x2's

Are you going to plasterboard in that insulation? It looks like a lovely place for contaminants to live.
I'd consider giving the whole area a coat of antibacterial paint - all white inside! It would look awesome and make future cleaning easy too.
But that's just me being a pedant, looks good dude!

I like that space! I'm going to be transforming horse stables into large walk-in FC's for my edible farm in the very near future. All you need to do is line from floor to ceiling plastic and make your own humidifier to take care of the space.
But like everyone has said, the heat will be your main issue. It's a good idea to stick to the mono's up there as you can just line them up and watch everything grow. Best of wishes and cant wait to see your grows!!
