So i got myself some hay and colonized popcorn
Also an oven bag.
Problem is i only have micropore tape for air exchange..
Will it be fine to just give the bag some cut wounds and then cover them with tape?
Bonus question: Does straw fruit well in vitro?

you should use a normal 2L bottle cap cut the bottle off just before the threads start and cut a hole in the top , put the excess bag through the bottle and then fold the bag down around it screw on the cap and I would put the tape on the inside of the cap before screwing it on tight ... and don't lift the bag by the cap till completely cooled off or it might pop right off ... make sure to cover the cap with tinfoil before you PC though

yeah micropore will work fine
do you want breath-ability during colonization/consolidation?
or would it be better air tight?
if the first micropore, maybe layered, over slits. then remove for fruiting.
if the second dont make slits til fruiting
right?
