I love walking around this place. I think its the green moss that I see everywhere. My place of zen
Habitat: Clear cut growing from tree stump.
Gills: Color-purple. attached, gills.
Stem: I didn't see much of a stem on these, small if no stem at all.
Cap: purple and brown, scaly.
Other information: I think they might fit into Pleurotus sp.

Conocybe

CLITocybe

The one you don't have a clue about might be Entoloma?

Your Pleurotus looks like Panus conchatus. Your Conocybe is likely a Galerina and your Clitocybe is likely Hygrophorus with that slimy cap and sheath on the stalk and decurrent, thick gills.

The problem is that that's about right for both genera. You need to check to see if the spores are smooth (Conocybe) or ornamented (Galerina). You could probably pull that off on even a cheap scope...like mine.

The very first picture you have is Panus conchatus. I found some in early May and I thought they were purple oysters. Their evolutionary history is pretty interesting too >> http://www.mushroomexpert.com/panus_conchatus.html

It's crazy that Panus conchatus are gilled polypores. Thanks for the link
