So I think I've decided to go with kind of a version of Doc_T's mini monotub. Here: Doc_T's Monotub I am going to leave the air pump in for humidity help, I will drill 1/4" holes every two inches around the tub and make a window for light with holes for air on the lid. The tent is all opened up and I was thinking about getting a fan in there.

dont worry about the window you dont need alot of light to grow boomers and if you are gonna use a fan put it on a timer or yer cakes will dry out and the rest sounds like a good plan there are like 5 ways you could modifie this fc and they will all work

Update:
Alright. I made some changes to the fruiting chamber and the tent that it is in. I drilled 1/4" holes every 2" in two rows across the top of the box. Also drilled holes around the top of the lid. I cut a hole in the lid for light and rigged up some plastic with tape. I did it just to check it out but the tape seems to work just fine so I will leave it until it needs changed or something. I still need to go get some duct tape to tape off the bottom portion of the box from the light. At least up to the holes I drilled.
I also put a fan in the floor of the tent and opened most the ports and little screen windows on the bottom. This actually moves a fair amount of air. I can feel the air draw in from the openings because of the negative pressure. Being on the floor is perfect because most the air movement is bellow the table and only a light movement coming in from the top. That way my cakes wont dry out quickly.

My RH did come down though. I'm wondering if it would be ok or I should change it up. I noticed it's sitting around 85% with all the holes drilled in it. Seemes to be getting good fresh air though. My hygrometer is not calibrated I might add. I will say that when I had it in my FC during the building stages I had the FC as humid as it could get without holes and it read around 96%. I will try to get a better one today maybe.
Also I was misting and fanning the last two days but I'm wondering if I should stop? I'm seeing a couple pins on a few of the cakes. Should I stop misting the cakes once they pin? I think I read that but want to double check. If so will they be ok at a slightly lower RH after they pin or no?
I'm also seeing what seems to be mycelium coming through the verm casing layer. Is this normal? Doesn't seem like cobweb but not as rhizomorphic as the cakes looked. I'm guessing it's ok. Just wanna check though.
Without further ado:

Ha it's funny how when you start showing pins you start getting more lookers. That's when it starts getting interesting.

I'm no expert by any means but the things I have read about FAE and misting pre and post pin is this: More mist (3-5x) than fan (2-4x) before pins, same mist(3-5x) more fan (4-6x)after pins. Mist when it looks dry, fan when it looks wet, don't over do it, let them be, no molesting lol and watch em grow Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

So I've been misting and fanning every three hours once the light comes on. (unemployed) With the light timer set for 12/12 that means I mist and fan around 4-5 times a day. Today being the first day since pins really showed up. I have pins on all but two cakes.
I could swear they are growing while I am in the tent messing around. LOL So far everything seems OK. Humidity is still lower than I would like it. I will go get some tape and hygrometer here in a bit.
I just had to post again because they seem like they are doing well
I wont get my hopes up just yet hehe

The fan shouldn't bee too close to the chamber or it will dry things out faster than you want. When I said "air moving" I didn't mean a fan. Most people have air conditioning in their residence, and that is adequate enough air circulation. If you're in a room that has stale air, a fan might be of use. In that case, place the fan somewhere away from the chamber, or at least pointing away from it.

I feel like the fan is OK. It's on low and below the desk so the air is not actually moving that much. The fan also points out a screened opening in the lower part of the tent to cause air to draw in from the other openings using a negative pressure. There is not actually air drawing past the tub. Only fresh air slowly exchanging in the tent. Thanks for the help though.
I've added a heat mat under the tub just to see where it gets it. Hopefully it will help a little with RH and bring the temp up a bit from 68F. I've also duct taped the sides of the tub to keep them growing up. I couldn't find a better hygrometer\thermometer at the hardware store but I will go to the grow store tomorrow. I also need to get some chains to lower the light and make the most of it.
I will update on temps and RH after next fan and mist.

Thanks!
FC seems to be getting better. With the heating pad under it the temp came up to around 75F rather than 68F. It also seems to be helping the RH. I actually get some condensation on the lid now

I do wonder though? The bright white mycelium poking through the rolled verym layer. Do I need to patch that or anything. I tried a little the first time I saw it on one cake but just made a mess of the verm in there so I stopped.
Does this mycelium travel outward in search of more water? Kind of like roots of a plant going deeper in search of more water. Just a guess. It was only showing up early on in the FC and kind of stopped. I assume its no big deal.

Picture Update:

Everything seems to be going well. Now I have pinning on all cakes! I did however find two little gnats crawling on my cakes and one in the air. I successfully removed them without disturbing anything too much. Hopefully the little buggers didn't bring in some contamination.
They are growing like gang busters though. That one little cake is just blowing up with little guys all over it.
I did find the looks of these ones strange though. Not too out of the ordinary but different than some of the ones on the other cakes.
They have been that way for a while too. They don't really grow out just bulking up. Not that worried just an observation.
Also: I have one that the cap sort of split open on. I'm am not that worried about this either, but does this give me a clue to something. Such as low humidity or a temperature issue. Temp seems fine but I'm still trying(mostly lazy) to get a better hygrometer so that could be the issue. They seem alright though.
LOL I was gonna draw little eyes above the tear because it looks like a mouth.
