All mushrooms located in NE Missouri, about .5 mile west of the Mississippi river, on a hill ~100ft elevation higher than Mississippi. Been raining a lot lately.

Species #1:







Habitat:
Growing under a catalpa tree in the grass.

Gills:
Light grey

Stem:
2", grainy looking, cream colored

Cap:
1" Diameter, white, smooth and silky feeling, dry, has a yellowish fringe around the edge.

Spore print color:
Pic

Bruising:
N/A

Other information:
N/A

Species #2: (Galerina Marginata?)





Habitat:
Growing in an old dog pen area, in a pile of woodchips & dog/cat shit

Gills:
light brown

Stem:
1" long, 5mm diameter, light brown

Cap:
1" Diameter, orange-brown, smooth and slimy

Spore print color:
Pic

Bruising:
N/A

Other information:
N/A

Habitat:
Same place as #2

Gills:
dark brown, evenly spaced

Stem:
2mm diameter, .5-1.5" long, white-ish

Cap:
1-2" diameter, white/light brown, becoming darker in the middle (may have been affected by recent rains)

Bruising:
N/A

Other information:
N/A

no doubt eh!!! they are the real spring winner this year. definetly the most abundant. i just found a massive patch in my neighbors garden 20 minutes ago.
