RR has mentioned that what we think of as the second or third flush of a grow can actually be the first flush of second and third substrains.
these are conflicting theorys, they either merge, share genetics and create a bastard strain like I said OR the diff. strain in the cake manifest themself through 2nd and 3rd flushing.....

They may not be conflicting theories. Both may happen.
The fact is if you use spores on a PF cake, it tends to work out in the end.

i was thinking, and wanted to know what others think. I am wondering what kind of secret strains there are. I know that there are people out there that have there own personal strain line that they have worked hard to isolate, possibly even cross some strains and dont share it with the public. (not asking really a question, just my thoughts)

You are psychic!! Yes, I have a secret strain (not a cube though).
When I can propagate it successfully I'll introduce it to the world.
And it will take over the world! Bhwa-ha-ha!!!!!!!!!

I have read in a few places that Cambodian is frequently recommended for beginners. I'm not sure if it is marketing hype or because they are just a little more resilient or what. Just makes me think of Cambodia by Apoptygma Berzerk, ha.

Howdy, sorry for this incredibly nooby approach but I'm pressed for time.
My friend started out with Ps Creepers and Azurescens, the former has been toyed with and he isn't foolhardy enough to touch the latter. Now that he has the general gist of what's occurring at each stage, he would like to set his sights on the horizons.
Questions!: Which strains are you wishing you started with, or are aiming for the next batch? Hypothetically of course.
Do they grow faster? Have bigger flushes? Are slightly more potent?
AND
Which spore vendor is likely to have all suggested strains/has the best deals and enjoys money order?
Thank you, experienced individuals who are willing to bestow knowledge upon a wide eyed acolyte of the shroomy path.

I am going to say that they are Psilocybe cubensis.
Check out the strains thread. That is the best place for this sort of thing.
Good luck. I know that you will like them.
