GT is Golden Teacher, a popular cube that works well with your PF method.

I have to admit that GT was my first subject, and I have a warm spot for it.
It is a very standard cube in all rights.

Pretty standard. It has been known to grow some large fruits. EQ has been popular for a long time and is well domesticated.

My first PEU grow (the pic in my sig) turned out a bit more than twice as potent as the Wild Texans I've been growing. Significant difference, and I'm now turning to bulk cultivation of the PEU.
Oh, and the tea had a nice kind of nutty flavor, which I liked.

Yea they look like dried cubes but you can't know for sure without a microscope.
I have an unlimited supply of wood chips. All kinds of different trees. I'm thinking of making a bed this spring outside and trying my hand at some wood lovers.
I've been reading but I can't decide which species to start with. Does anyone have any suggestions from experience cultivating outside as to which was easiest for you?

Yes, it has poor yields and a very short lived trip, about 3 hours from start to finish. The upside is good potency, but they don't last very long. Me and a few other people here have discussed them in detail and agree they need some work. My friends do complain about the short trip duration

Gerrr I have some Costa Rica spores that I may study.
How about Puerto Rican?
I chose to study this stain because of the low temps it can flourish in, due to the winter season.
What I can say about these: GT: My first study I learned that further flushes can have a massive lack in potency. The 2nd flushh from PF tek had close to no bruising, some skimpy fruit and really bunk potency. Perhaps bad genetics. Later experiments differ.

EQ: A hell of a strain. Yield wasn't the greatest, but the look of them were so great. I loved the eye candy. Fast colonizer at that.

B+: Great yields, great fruit. What I like about B+ is that it colonizes on the fast side. Just as fast as EQ, if not faster. BIG CAPS

PE: A very slow colonizer (part of the reason why potency is high), and from my studies I learned the hard way that substrate depth is an important variable for large fruitbody. Very potent, very enjoyable. By far my most favorite cube. But, yields are the downside. If I were to work with these, I would spend allot of time cloning for that perfection.

Once again, what can anyone tell me about the Puerto Rican strain that isn't already in the strain info thread.
