I see purple prints pretty often, not really rust colored like redboy prints. Is there any advantage to fruits with this trait besides the spore color? does it continue into the next generation? or just a fruit here and there will have rust colored spores? do they tend to be more potent?

Just curious, never looked into the rust printy ones really

Rust spores just look cool. They don't affect anything like potancy or colonisation speed. Yes the spore color carries over. You might get the odd fruit dropping purple spores but they should be rust for yhe moste part.

It makes me wonder a bit about the mutation of P. Cubensis. For example, I wonder if a cube would ever have an orange-looking print in the wild. As with PE, sometimes mutation leads to good things.

Sometimes though, I feel like just nice old fashioned (preferably potent, and I find they usually are!) beautiful golden capped and silvery stemmed classic cubensis is good to rely on. Maybe just a personal thing. Trying novelty cubes and especially different Psilo species is very interesting too and its very exciting to have an APE trip for example, that you know is gonna kick your ass. (At least, I haven't heard otherwise yet)

I'm sure mutations occur in the wild.  Everything is pure multispore and the genetic diversity is much higher there than it is indoors with varieties that have had their genetic diversity reduced by repeated strain isolation and printing.  Mutations that are the result of inbreeding like PE will be more rare in the wild though.

The wild mutations will likely be less pronoucned since I expect spore flakes and multigenetic fruits are still common, and since nature will not select for something like redspore (at least I doubt it,) there is no reason to expect a disproportionately large number of strains to germinate with that mutation.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister.  I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave.  I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

I think it would have be nile river south of the aswan where it still floods.  There should be african buffalo shit around and fertile soil.  Or it could be some random cube with a mystical region attached to it.

"Direct from the shores of the Nile in the mystical and legendary city of Luxor, Egypt, home of the tomb of Tutankhamen in the Valley of the Kings and the temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor. We are pleased to present another magical gift from this legendary location. No wonder the ancient Egyptians were so enlightened."

I got a MexiCube syringe from him like a month ago and it's colonizing just fine, except it's reaaaally slow, although that may be because it's only 60 degrees here

That doesn't help, and if your texture was slightly on the wet side, cakes can creep very slowly.

Whenever I use the PF tek recipe, my cakes end up super wet. Slow to colonize and high contam rate.
I no longer use the recipe for water.
Much better to have cakes be on the dry side than the wet.
I use my experience and judgement to decide how much water to use.
Always get the verm wet first, then add the BRF. Basic shit; often left out of teks though.
Cakes are fun, always will be.
