You can take an empty syringe and just refill it with sterile water. That will have millions of spores. The hundreds of trillions of spores vendors pack their syringes with is super overkill. The smallest visible spec of spores is 10 million at least. Technically you need 2 spores to do a grow. A CC from most syringes could be expanded 10 times with ease.

Agreed to that.
I always wonder why they pack em so fat with spores. It's less productive IMO. But taking an expanding is just adding more possibility of contamination. Why not just use a drop to agar. Clean it then LI to brf. Fast turn over.

I'm a big fan of agar. But not everyone wants to bother with it. Some people still think it's hard or expensive or whatever. BRF is pretty forgiving tho, so if those people just wanna bang up cakes with spores then they can fill their boots and they will still see some decent success.

They pack them full of spores so people who buy will be able to see there are spores in the thing they just bought.  Or so I always thought.

I've seen vendors brag of having the fullest spores for best microscope use. I like a challenge. Give me something I have to search for the spores with my microscope :laugh2:

I wonder though, not just psilo, would the mycelium have just regular DMT that might become phosphorylated/hydroxylated? I get the feeling it would be stored as just plain NN. No proof, just seems like it would be the case. 4-ho/po-dmt has to come from somewhere

If it has red spores this is awesome! And I think you'll be on to something there.

That one had red spores . I put them to agar and now they are eating there way through bulk sub so fingers crossed.  Maybe I'll get lucky. It will take quite a few generations to get stabilized .

They haven't let me down yet. For me they seem more colorful less body load but others have had different experiences.

There doesn't seem to be much info on xapuri . According to this thread here it's from Brazil . He received the print from psilocybinjunkie . I read somewhere it was from thialand but not real sure .

Were ever it happens to be from it looks like a cool strain to work with hope I can get my hands on a print one day never worked with anything that had colored spores. And it would be intresting to see if all prints are red or if its just an isolated insedent.
