I'd just do one of each in different tubs but okay. Mixing strains will most likely reduce your yield.

I love how it was said so matter of factly, as a statement, rather than a question. As if some of the info in this thread made it seem like mixing cubes in a single tub was a great idea.

I have been looking for a place that is active to ask a question but that hasn't proved profitable yet. I hope you will consider answering a question for me, even though this might not be the place to ask. I soaked wbs overnight, brought it to a good boil let it drain good, put in qt. jars, covered the tops with 2 coffee filters, the jars had the plastic lids with polyfil in one hole put in pressure cooker for 60 min. at 15psi , inoculated it the next day after cooling and within about three days the jars had little worms in the jars, alive. could you explain how this happened. thanks for any help

Worms wouldn't survive a PC cycle.

If you did in fact PC it correctly then you have a hole somewhere they got in through.

all the 6 jars had worms, they were kept in a refrigerator, with temp controlled heat around 82, i dont see how the worm could get through into all 6 through the polyfil

You're supposed to inoculate with spores. Not worm jizz. . .

Check your bag of grain for worms. You probably didn't PC them correctly. 60minutes isnt long enough anyway.
I've seen worms/insects survive a PC cycle, but not a proper PC cycle.

so you can get internal parasites from grains?
what about oats, rolled, cooked in flapjack but soft still?
the oven might not kill them!
i will never look at a flapjack in the same way again

Ummm...what? I guess you've never seen parasites infest grain. That's why a lot of people keep them in metal bins or something similar so bugs don't lay larvae in there. I'm pretty sure inoc had some grain get infested recently

i wish i had taken pics but i didnt the worms were all white and about 1/4 long about the size of a pencil lead and pointed on each end, and they were all moving, the pressure cooker i use takes a weight and has a guage , never any problems with that.
