PE is PE.. but it does carry a lot of genetic variance. I guess you'll have to rephrase your question.
There are 2 popular PE crosses, albino penis envy(ape) and penis envy uncut(peu), which are both pf albino crossed with penis envy, which was done by Workman(owner of sporeworks). Sporeworks is the only vendor that carries the pf albino x pe crosses, as far as I know.

I heard that all the penis envies of today came from two prints. One, makes the giant ripples and is a little deformed:
The other one came from a spore provider (workman) and was generally smaller and less deformed.
Or at least that's what I gathered from the picture, and article; where is the history of the pe strain? I can't find my source, but this can serve as a reference.

I prefer the look of the top one, if you come across a source of some PE like that, let me know please.

shitty thing is, i had prints and tried germinating them along with a few other cubes that were older prints and they were the only one that didn't germinate.

they get big like their brothers.

ive got a bunch of prints. ill keep trying to get them to germinate. the prints were taken in 2009. they fruited extremely well.
try to rehydrate the spores under pressure, basically i did this with my old print and it worked http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15383615

a curious thing... I have been working on karo lc's from multispore (ik ik... contams). I noticed that if I chilled the lc in the freezer before throwing in the spores, that positive pressure builds in the jar after it warms up (I don't waste my time with ge on these..) and the one's I chilled germinated faster than the one's I did not and then, the lid goes down from the mycelium eating the air, or it stays up if it is contaminated.... (at least, that's what I'm assuming)..... just some observation... I haven't tested them in jars yet, but this is what I suspect.

This doesn't deserve it's own thread Somebody I know is considering cultivating Psilocybe subaeruginosa. He was wondering the difficulty of such a task
In the locale my friend lives, there is a limited amount of potential mushrooms to pick and he's only really aware of one main kind, he can only get them at a certain time of year as well.
is it worth trying this, or is this a difficult strain to cultivate due to the fact they are woodchip mushrooms.
He's read recently that people in his country have been done by the federal police by ordering said spore prints off the internet, so he is paranoid about doing it that way and getting a different strain.

If you live in Australia you should either grow the subs outside or hunt some cubes. At any rate cultivation from prints that were taken from outdoor fruits is going to require agar skills. Otherwise you will probably just grow a lot of bacteria and mold.

You might find a vice magazine article on the history of PE, a lot of it is bullshit. Apparently the interviewer lied to mjshroomer and he sensed he was bullshitting him so he returned the favour and told the interviewer a load of bullshit.

those a+ get almost white when ive fruited them.
Pretty sure they all come from A strain, a normal-looking classic cube. Smallish very potent prolific fruit. Quite different than AA+. Really beautiful nipple tops too

This one.
But like they discuss in this thread with the way PE doesn't like to drop spores, it probably wasn't found in the wild just as it is today.

what a crazy bastard he did a thing on float tanks in my home town and I talked to him briefly he had such a strange smell it was like burning plastic. But heirs a link to his insanity its actually kinda funny http://www.vice.com/read/12-inch-shroom-603-v16n2
"His girlfriend from that time, who wishes to remain anonymous, remembers, “We hardly ever went out. Our dates were spent shaking mushroom jars early into the morning, and sex was often interrupted by technical raps about mushrooms.” With the magic penis on his mind, Pollock had no time to think about his own penis."
"Pollock’s girlfriend sat irate, waiting for him to meet her for dinner. She was absolutely certain that he had forgotten another date because he was busy sterilizing mason jars."
