I inauculated six jars (wbs) of treasure coast and six of alacabenzi. Im seeing small amounts of myc groeth in the tc. None in the alac. Heres the twist. The 1/2 pint jars i used for the alac were pc'd in a new model i had just bought. The wbs sat fo about 24 hrs and then simmered for about 20 mins. But i ran the pc dry for about 2 mins (almost no water) after over an hour. So im wonThe grains are to dry due to running dry. Or that alacabenzi race is just slower conizing

Umm spores can take as long as 3 weeks to germinate. But there are elements if your post that are concerning. You should make a thread on the board. Pics of the jars would be good as well.

Here is the result of isolating the "hybrid mix strain" that I will be working on making prints to give away/trade as soon as I get them to fruit. The joys of isolation pays off if you are diligent about it. It's going to go one more time and then to Master Slants. Testing the final product will be key. I have heard that it is better than PE, but that has to be proven still.Wish me luck!

Sorry about that guys. I was in a hurry and lost my train of thought.
What makes it "special" is that it's a cross strain that's supposed to be a stronger cube than PE. From the PE's I've tried, that's saying something. Only one way to find out. The pic is up now.

The person I got it from said that he would divulge that info if it turns out to be a stable cross. Mum's the word for now at his request. I don't even know for sure but there is a variety that puts out rust colored spores and another that puts out purple spores. I have them both although I'm having trouble with the rust ATM.

So I did my first project on KSSS, was expecting a first flush of all these big fat gnarly fruit, but instead I got some really small cubes that just grow prolifically. Nothing like the distinct pics I see of KSSS. Not that I'm complaining, just a bit surprised. In fact, these little guys are super duper potent. Maybe second flush will bring some monsters. That's usually what happens with later Cambodian flushes. Those really produce monsters more so than any other variety I have ever seen

In terms of aesthetics, KSSS seems to be the opposite. Tiny but prolific. My cambos seem to work sort of like APEs. Including potency
