Oh yeah and
I guess I should have added a statement about all of that being at the basic level. Without advanced education in Mycology, and genetics too I would imagine.
Ahh god not the cube-cyan hybrid question. I started a thread on it a while ago, and roger rabbit, if that is his real name, shut it down. He said that he wants to keep that project silent. Check it out:

No, you'll get both diff types growing form the tub i beleive. ALhtough I've never seen the point as when you print, you trading prints you dont know what they are!

I think I want to grow the "texan" strain next. I want to try this one because of its dense fruits and because they don't need much light at all (they can fruit in the dark).
I want to fruit them from cakes via pf tek.
I already have 1/2 pints, which I'm using right now for my B+, but would 1/4 pints work and still give the same dense flushes as a 1/2 pint would?
I've read that the difference is that you get smaller fruits. About how much of a difference does it make? Thanks.

Cubes WILL fruit in the dark, though you would have better results otherwise.

1/4 pints are best used for spore solutions, and liquor shots.

Thinner substrate = Smaller fruits

Thinner substrate = Smaller fruits
not necessarily.
3" deep substrates can produce as large fruits as 6" deep substrates can, but less fruitbodies.
water availability is the keyword.
but, what the guy above already stated, thinner substrates do contain less water; thats where the circle is complete.
additionally, its a question of fruitbody count: more, but smaller ones or few, but bigger ones, both possible.

Can you guys tell me the difference in trip experience with penis envy compared to texans?
I wanted to grow combodians next, but everyone says that they are either a "speedy" trip or a "super visual" trip. I don't want the speedy trip. I like downers, not uppers.
What turns me on about penis envy and texans is that the PE are very thick stemmed and weigh a lot, though they yield less than texans. I'm interested in texans because they don't have much water weight, are thick stemmed like PE, but only they grow pretty densely.

hey dude,
you must remember one thing:
the trip is what you want it to be!
if you eat texans and think they may be speedy, then they are. same with the penis or any other cubensis.

holy shit college boi.
read the first post in this thread.
or read the link in my sig.
when growing from spores. your mushrooms will have differing potencies.
no vendor can assure that all mushrooms formed from these spores will provide a "speedy" trip. its simply impossible.
stop being dumb.

Ok I'll have to read the archived strain thread.
Is there a way to view "all" posts because then all I would need to do is do the little "find in page" thing, search "texan" and everything will come up.

No one answered. I was also very curious about this strain. I actually have a couple bags colonizing now, they seem to be relatively fast colonizers.
Anyways I wasn't really wondering much about the cube itself but rather it's history? I have looked all over and just can't seem to find much and am wondering if anyone has any info?
Reason I ask is because I really like to know the background of what I am harvesting. May sound strange but to me, there is a special bond between grower and grown. I also really enjoy the country of Peru and have enjoyed learning a lot about the ancient Inca cultures that inhabit the area.
If anyone has any background info on the strain I would be really grateful if you'd share!

Okay, so I purchased Amazon from FungiMushrooms (http://funguymushroomspores.myshopify.com/collections/spore-syringes/products/amazon)and was recently looking through the Strain guide. I noticed that there is a Amazonian, and a PESA, but no Amazon. The description of PESA says AKA Amazon. So, my question is, is the Amazon I purchased from FungiMushroom Amazonian, PESA, or a different strain called Amazon. I swear I tried the search function and was unsuccessful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know it's not overly important as "a cube is a cube", but I would like to make sure I am labeling prints and sending off into the community correctly. Cheers.
