I'm growing Pink Buffaloes and had read a lot of info, must of it is contradicting.. It's been 6 day's with no pins(on manure/straw), I've read that it can take up to 14 day's with these guys. Also that it will take up to 14 day's to fruit. On the other hand I've read that they will fruit fast and full given the correct conditions, just days or a day once they have pinned and are growing. Some clarification would be great... I understand that there is nothing like first hand but would be nice to know what to expect! Anyways, have a GRATEFUL day.. THANKS:laugh:

OK, they're cubes and they'll pin on their own schedule, which depends on a whole host of factors (only some of which) you can control.  All cubes will fruit "fast and full given the correct conditions".  Give 'em time, play some music for them, I don't know what...hmmm....:dancingbear:

I'd like to see a pic of the pink buffalo's. Havn't been able to find a nice pic yet. Anyone have experience with psuedos?

Mr Giraffe, what kind of camera is that? Because your pic is REALLY CLEAR on my end.

My strain q is, is there anything that makes KSSS stand out (as much as a cube can stand out from other cubes not named PE) from other cubes? From what I've researched, just mostly stubby first flush is to be expected. Thanks shroomers!!

Oh and I was advised to case KSSS when the time comes too. Should I?

It's my wife's Canon EOS Rebel XS dslr.  I'm a Nikon man though, all though I sold mine a few years back because we at the time we couldn't justify 2 dslr cameras with a kid on the way haha.

I never cased or consolidated my KSSS and they did okay but I recommend casing stuff cause I like casing stuff.

They are mutant prone and tho they are short, they weigh more than they look like they would. Dense little bastards they are :awesomenod:

Oh I actually was wondering about Koh Samui Super Strain (or super spore in some places). What is super about it? Especially compared to regular KS?

Tiny Cubes under my cactus. I thought this was so cool, and I didn't expect it to really happen in just a pot of soil.
I know that these are so small, but they're not at all intentional. I barely even noticed them until someone pointed them out, I dunno how long this has been going on lol (I tend to mix used sub with soil for added nutrients to the soil)

(Damn the last few days I keep getting these sideways pics, it's two small skinny cubes, one still standing)

seems pretty outdated to colonize any cube @ 84-86F

and according to his synopsis Cambodians are "the best" variety out there in all categories..

I don't
I've grown many varities from spores. sometimes you get big ones small ones sometimes it grows faster or slower sometimes they're really potent or not. Obviously each variety has some little bit you may notice over time and many grows but with that said if you grew cambo gt b+ and didn't label your grows you would never be able to correctly identify them once you grew them out.

Seems to me that the names are all hype. The genetics themselves seem to be the determining factor. I agree with bodhisatta in that I've grown countless varieties from spores and have been unable to observe any major differences between them. Some do 'this' and then do the opposite when you grow them out from spores a 2nd time. If you inoculate 15 brf jars with a single syringe, you'd be hard pressed to see any consistency that couldn't be written off as coincidence. Isolated genetics allow you to observe traits and consistent behavior. If any convincing evidence was put forth to say otherwise, then I would be on board with the whole 'strains' thing but it just isn't there. Those descriptions for the different strains are just fortune cookies in a different application.
