Probably not. I would not personally eat them. Sounds like they have gone to funk to me.

Mazatapec's producing small fruit. [Re: GoldenArrow]

Lots of people get small fruits when they grow mazatapec's from spores.
If penis envy can have the traits of looking like a penis from fruit to spore to fruit, why couldn't one patch of cubes from a different part of the world evolving with slightly different genetics from generation to generation be known to have fruits on the smaller side? (yes I know penis envy was bred and isolated over time but regardless from spore to fruit and on they maintain the same traits.)
Cubes are cubes but genetic traits are still passed down from fruit to spore.

I'm pretty sure that's the way it works

I would highly recommend Cambodians for a first time
Great potency and also great quantity and can be pulled off very well even by a first-timer. b+ is good too but probably not quite as rewarding for beginners (but definitely teaches alot! And they come out very strong no matter what strain).
I know that someone who was in a very similar situation to you ended up with Cambodians that were active at less than .5 and all stages went super smoothly. These same cubes, taking over 2g and you are in hyperspace, no exaggeration. Also each cake would produce over 30g almost every flush. This is very different from B+ which gives large fruit but not in huge abundance (at least not with BRF), you want a classic cube.
Cambodian, Golden Teacher, Ecuador, stay away from Albino and Penis Envy for now, I would suggest. Get into the more novel strains (even B+) when you're familiar with a basic cube, and I think I'm in love with Cambodians.
(Btw I am NOT AT ALL dissing B+ its just the last one I've seen in development and its amazing but maybe not the best for a first time when you want easy rewards. B+ is very forgiving and resilient but doesn't shower with fruit, IMO, but makes up with potency and harvest over time, more flushes)

I have a question I hope someone will see in the next couple weeks:
i g2g'd a shitload of Orissa India jars & waiting for them to finish up i know the historical context of how this strain was discovered: in elephant dung in India (I mean I know all cubes grow in manure, but elephant poop must be like the superfood of manure cuisine)
i don't have easy access to horse manure, plus it's getting cold outside and it's just a long drive and inconvenient as fuck. will this strain do ok on just coir/verm/gypsum or would i really be drastically shortchanging myself with this strain by not using manure? i've used manure/coir mix and just straight up CVG with other strains (GT, texas, cambodians) and honestly can't see the difference with or without manure. Have cambodians going right now without any manure in my sub, just cvg, and it's likely the best tub i've done so far (it was started with a clone though).
So i know a cube is a cube and all, but will OI be able to similarly flourish in a bulk sub with no manure? i'm trying to get those monsters it's known for

SUBJECTIVE REPORT. Talking about different strains? I'm trying to advise a newer person than me as to "what strain" they should start with. That's my opinion. Nothing too weird about that, unless its that same old "a cube is a cube" stuff. There are pretty big differences in how a strain gives off its fruit, I've noticed, some more rewarding than others. And not even factors like FAE, etc. for example B+ doesn't give huge amounts when done on BRF it seems. What's more attractive to a first-timer? I don't see how, considering this is where we discuss "strains", its anything to facepalm yourself about :P

Some species require a high nitrogen source...i.e. manure....but cubes don't at all.

So I am attempting my first PF-Tek. I just autoclaved my jars and inoculated 6 each of Huatla and Colombian Rust Spore Cubes. Does anyone have any experience with these 2 varieties? What can I expect? Will they be noticably different? Right now I have them labeled separately. I know a cube is a cube, but I still hope they are distinctly different.
