Jd/coke is my drink. I only drink 151 if it's in Caribou Lou (delicious). Those are some pretty/dense fruits PL

I just got acquainted with Cambodians as my first grow, and they may not have those monstrous stems, but lots and lots of pins equalling lots and lots of smaller but full mushrooms (so huge amounts of caps), and they seem quite potent. Don't grow if you want monstrous sized fruits (although a couple did turn out pretty big, 60-80g, but its much more common to see lots of small ones end up around that weigh). Each flush was a consistent 4-7g (dunked for 16hr or so, 8 cakes), and lots of small mushies seemed to dry much quicker than a few big ones. As far as "B+ and hollow stems", when dry, these feel as if they're hollow as well, but they still weigh a good amount, maybe not as much as PE, but this is really my only experience with this.

Hi. I'm new to this thread. My question is: I have about 12 pf cake with Golden Teachers (LC), however I want to knock up more, but space is an issue. What strain does well on BRF but doesn't require such a large fruiting chamber. Smaller fruit is my goal on this batch only because I can't set up large chambers all over my house. Any advise is much appreciated.

Mazatepac's are a smaller version of cubes that would be good for your situation. Best to read the size description of each strain. Cervantes strain journal, http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7955834, is what I've used when researching which strains to cultivate.

Sorry, but not ANY cube will work. I agree with the other guy that mazatapec fruit small but in a good quantity. Also, I found cambodians to be small but i didn't like them. They were stringy and tiny (thought it was just the grow the first time but the second time they did the same thing) brazilians and B+
stay away from treasure coast they get huge.

I sorta' agree... a cake doesn't hold much water so large, dense cubes may struggle. If you do everything right though, they won't.

Anyone had trouble fruiting Costa Ricans? Seems like an unstable strain. Myc growth is sporadic, and my friend is having trouble fruiting his. Opposed to the more stable, classic strain like EQ that he placed in the FC 2 days ago and already has explosive pins. Guess some strains take more work than others

I realize I gave a broad half assed response now that I' m back on. A lot of people say a cube is a cube... but there are certain characteristics that some have that across the board everyone is saying they get on an average grow. MY Cambodians came out pretty bad. Averagish trip but I had to take a ton in quantity because the yield was low and very stringy and sickly looking. I don't believe it was because of fruiting conditions because I grew them with 4 other types (B+, Brazilian, Maz & TC) at the same time and they were great.Better than I expected. After 2 more grows, I got the same results across the board. So either my syringes from a certain company sucked each time, or that's what their characteristics are. Same great repeat results with the other races. These characteristics in size, yield, speed of growth etc. all coincided with what people described on them on this site.
But again, according to everyone else, a cube is a cube.

Yeah, not all cubes are cubes.... But all cubes are cubes. Minus PE, APE, AA+, Falbino, and the retarded sterile brother to them all... Purple mystic.

There is no way to predict what strain will have what potency or even which individual fruits will be more potent.
A.P.E. is always cited because a lot of people count or estimate and don't weigh 'em and they tend to contain much less water.
At least that's what I've read. I want to emphasize I have no experience with anything but legal edibles, of course.

Anybody else get weak prints from pink buffaloes? Perhaps it's just a particular genetic trait from this last batch I grew.

My understanding of "a cube's a cube" is that they're all roughly equal in potency, but the varieties are all somewhat different in growing habits and appearance (obviously, otherwise they wouldn't be different varieties). So some may tend to grow taller or fatter or denser than others, have different color caps, or a slightly different shape. Therefore, certain varieties may be better suited for certain environments or teks--a variety that produces smaller but more plentiful fruit may be better suited to cakes, etc., however, gram for gram they shouldn't differ much in potency.

Right on. Hope yours goes better. I've tried glass and foil. Both weak as shit.
