Do they lose potency if they're dried after being picked early? I started drying them but its only been a little bit.

Fresh cubes are the most potent. It is great when you have time for a trip right after harvest.
If you dry them well, they will retain much of the potency. I would wait until they fully dry now, so you know how much you actually have. Hard to measure partially dried cubes.

Thanks for all the help too. Sorry the picture's so small.
Those were not even close to full maturity. Next flush, wait till they start to drop spores.
I did the exact same thing on my first flush. Plenty enough to have a great time... but in hindsight, I wasted much of that flush.

There is the cubensis "Mexicube" and then there are the P. Mexicanae.
If you are getting started, the Mexicubes would be a find start.
The Mexicanae can be more challenging than cubes.
Good luck,

I wish I still had mexicube (cubensis) spores, I remember it being a prolific fruiter.

This is why I still have a B+ sponsor's syringe sitting in my fridge....with much more interesting choices to pick from and all the hard work involved in this hobby, I guess I don't want to risk a bunk flush.
Probably will "fucks wit it" eventually though.

If you isolate and get a nice iso your golden. B+ grows big and it does seem to fruit more than alot of cubes ive grown, but to grow from MS and risk this id never do it again

Isolating is definitely the shit, if you get a good one things always turn out gravey (considering the grow conditions are optimal).

The only draw back I have found with this trait is that it is usually accompanied by a lack of potentcy,
That is my experience with the variety,
When ever I found a good potent B+ strain through isolation it never produced as well as the honkers did,
This is def where its bad rap came from,.

By lack of potency you mean what? That an 1/8 won't do anything? How low is it's potency?
