I think workman's goal is to reduce the aborts and increase the likelihood of MS albinism. That is a tall order.
Yes it is, but if anyone is upto it its workman

So uh penis envy, when are they ready to harvest? Do the caps ever completely open or just the little bit at the bottom?

PEU == Penis Envy Uncut does not really open, though I have not grown it yet.
PE often does....frustratingly so, as I have had caps that looked like very good candidates for printing: no joy.
Good luck,

I suggest growing a 'Normal' cube first.
This will help you get to know the growing cycle.
With PE, potency per gram is highest when picked before maturation. That said, I mature the Fuckers. Wait for spores to drop if non-sterile. Wait till growth seems to stop if sterile.
I am not speaking science. Magic Mycology is a shamanistic thing. Once you know how to do it, follow your gut... your instincts. Bulk has no importance. Eat what you need and trip as you will. Grow more as necessary. Have fun. Trip safe, trip smart. Tune in. Turn on. Drop out. .

This is my 2nd grow actually, I just rarely check in around here because I don't experiment with my tek too much. Why mess with success? I do wanna try some casings eventually but a 60 hour work week keeps me out of the house a lot. B+ was my first time around 7/10 jars were a success and 4 made it 6 flushes before contam prevailed. But the bottom 1/8 inch of my caps are flipped up, are the over mature now?

Yeah, just be careful not to rip them off when taking the mature fruits off.

ohhh, I misunderstood you! lol I thought you meant the whole cap is flipped up, no those aren't mature yet... typically the best time is right before the veil breaks... for potency that is. Obviously if you want to make prints you have to wait for the veil to break off.

some "strains/races" tend to be faster than others or am I reading too much into your statements? :-)
Over many years of growing cubes (and others), and many of those involving cubes not from any modern strain, the slowest growing isolates/mutants (of which I've had a few) where always the most potent.
I can't explain what controls the speed of growth, but like any other trait with care and patience you should be able to isolate for it. This may be all that happens when people do what they typically do - clone from the fruits that appeal to them, which (I suspect if mutants) also tend to be the ones that grow slower or have poor gill-maturation abilities. When/if this characteristic kicks in (my last speculation here is that whatever it is it's not uncommon ) you'll harvest more potent fruits, in a sort of arrested juvenile stage (eternal youth).

Ha shit I picked em. I was impatient, they are all mostly open just not flipped up. Oh well I'm birthing more soon and I have plenty more flushes ahead

Well done! Keep 'em growing and spray those cakes. They need more water. Spray the bottom. Avoid the pins.

A B+ flips up. That is what I mean.
B+ sporulates late in the process compared to the average cube and, it grows rather large which also, seems to slow the process.
You want the most bang for your buck? Wait 'till the caps bend up, and print those babies! Trade for other cubes.
B+ is a wonderful and forgiving cube. A great beginner's cube. It may even give you a dud flush which isn't very potent at all. Hence the grade, B+.
Fuck Golden Teacher... B+ is the best educator.
Patience spawns cubes. If you are patient, your cubes will know.
If you are patient, B+ will reward you.
