I guess I have a strain question.

If I wanted to isolate some really strong Panaeolus genetics, large fruits for example, would I be able to isolate it down enough to have my own "strain"? Using Workman's method of clone>print for like 8 generations.

Just tried taking clones from a skinny cube fruit, that shit is not easy. So stringy! Then it doesn't want to come off the blade.

Because I practically live in the arctic  I would love it if somebody sent me a wild print or something but we'll see.

I wouldn't be able to bring back the fruit with me to clone though, getting a spore print from a big fruit only makes it slightly more likely for those genetics to show up, from what I understand.

I'm okay with the time, it's not something I plan on getting done in a few months. It's just going to be to take up the time and keep me doing something mycological(?) to keep me fresh and learning.

That's basically where I'm starting, this culture looked like all the caps were going to be round but once they opened they seemed to have a nipple shape so maybe it's more prevalent than I thought but I figured that would be a good place to start learning. Once I felt I had an isolate with nipple caps and a good producer.

Pretty sure these are in fact AA+

That last picture is my favorite.
