There is a youtube video, but it is just a shot of mycelium.

This looks closer:

Closer still:

I found Texans to be strong, but that was just the genetics that I got from Ralphster.

Good luck,

PEU == Penis Envy Uncut does not really open, though I have not grown it yet.

PE often does....frustratingly so, as I have had caps that looked like very
good candidates for printing: no joy.

Good luck,

JD

Any information on mexicubes?

There is the cubensis "Mexicube" and then there are the P. Mexicanae.

If you are getting started, the Mexicubes would be a find start.

The Mexicanae can be more challenging than cubes.

Good luck,

JD

Brazil works fine:

...just like any other cube.  You can end up with weak or strong growth
depending on the genetic lottery.

Good luck,

Pans do like a manure based substrate.

I tried putting some poo into a set of cakes with the other ingredients.
I plan on fruiting them as cakes.

[and I can report that BRFP cake do colonize nicely]

Good luck,

J

P.S. Wow, I meant to post this this morning, 10 hours ago...ah well.

In my experience ATL7 was a fair deal stronger than cubes.

I only sampled my Semperviva grow (still looking for the right time/place)
but they were stronger than ATL7, by a wide margin.

One's own state of consciousness makes such a difference that these
estimates are questionable.

Good luck,

JD

P.S. I would recommend ATL7 next.  Semperviva takes even more patience...

Well, the could be GTs.

BTW: It looks like you need to increase the FAE in your FC.

That cake look pretty drenched.

Good luck,

JD

No worries.

Did you test your hygrometer?  They can be flaky.

Wrap it in a moist/warm towel for 20 mins and then see what it says.
(if it is analog!)

Good luck,

JD

People will tell you that a cube is a cube, and they are right, but I want
to say Brazil just because it is fairly standard.

Make a tea.  That will help alot with the stomach issues.

Use five grams dry to make four cups of tea.  One cup will be a nice
start and the second if things go well.  ;0)

This is just my $0.02.  These things are so subjective.

Take care,

JD

I just make a point of warning people about PE.

Similar mistake have been made when people try new species that are just
much stronger than normal cubes.  I recall The Chosen One warning about
Semperviva. (wow!)  I have never eaten carmel caps, and will certainly
be careful when I do.

The Ginko idea in intriguing.  Can you elaborate, or post a link?

Thanks for taking the time,

JD

Yeah, I need to come up with some disorder that might provide such stuff.

I had access to a Xanex for one trip.  It helped me relax (it was a "heroic dose" ;0)

Actually, I never have myself, or I would have a supply of such stuff.

The last 18 months have had me more panicky than I have ever been though,
as I got a new soulless bastard ex military motherfucker for a boss.

He tried everything he could to get me fired from a team that I had been
with for seven years when he just fell off the turnip truck.

I will not go into all the shit he pulled, but I have felt like a cat in
a Skinner Box since he arrived.  Fat lot of good he did, as my entire
team was off-shored to China in the last month.

So, I have plenty to stress about, but I am dealing well.  (so far! ;0)

I have skills, as I ought to having, worked in the same field for 20 years.
I will find something new, and keep working.

Take care,

JD

P.S. I promise to panic more, if someone can set me up with something to help.  LOL!
