Square Grouper documentary

So have you seen the documentary called Square Grouper? It's made by Rak on tur, who made the Cocaine Cowboys movies. It's basically a pot version of CC. It's about three different groups of 70's pot smugglers that I didn't know about: The Ethiopian Zion Coptic Church, who were a bunch of uptight, conservative religious douche bags except for their pot smuggling and pot advocacy. The Black Tuna Gang was the next segment. Their distribution case helped to revive the DEA, which was teetering on being disbanded at the time. The last segment was about the people of Everglades City, Florida. Basically all the men in this city were moving lots of pot. The DEA ended up blocking off the one road out of the city and busted almost every adult male for distribution.

Anyway, I got the DVD from Netflix. You can watch it online, but it's always best to get the DVD because you get all of the great extras. Go check it out.
