My thoughts...
    #14523954 - 05/27/11 10:42 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

This is from a while ago, I wrote this before ever experimenting with anything other than marijuana and pills, if anyone actually reads this it would be cool to get some feedback, this is the way i think, not really influenced by anything other than deep thinking... now that I've experienced mushrooms i think i could get deeper into some of these topics, but yeahhh, enjoy i guess!

"Do you ever think about the kid that you’re going to have when you finally decide that you’re ready to settle down and pop one out? Well I’m sure you have an idea of what your child is going to look like and what he/she is going to act like, but there’s honestly no way of knowing exactly what he/she is going to look like because until the baby is actually conceived, it doesn’t even exist in the slightest.

It really is quite a sketchy topic, a scary thing to think about, but it’s something that I believe a lot of people really have some really great questions about, but are either too afraid of getting picked on for being so depressing , or they get nervous and worked up so they try to avoid the topic all together. But the truth of the matter remains the same; death is the only thing a living creature is guaranteed.

Life and death can be described in so many different words and metaphors, but if I was ever asked to compare life to something, anything, it would be drugs. The, “what goes up must come down” philosophy works great because it just further tries to get the point across that nothing lasts forever. This is an important thing to remember. As depressing as it sounds, just bear with me, I promise you this is the truth, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER.

Emotions are just illusions. Nothing more than your brain processing an event and then letting you know how it feels about the situation. Love, this is a real emotion. But love doesn’t last forever. It’s just another emotion that comes and goes. When you have really strong feelings for someone, it is not infatuation. That’s a lame ass word that was created to help people cope with love lost. Love is love, plain and simple. If real love is “forever” then why is it that one of these lovers may die before the other, leaving the other here on this fucked planet? Why is it that they sit there and tell you over and over that they love you, that they mean it and that you’re the only one for them, just to leave you? Love is just like happiness, sadness, grumpiness, hatred, all of the other emotions. It has been regarded as something sacred, but it’s really nothing more than another feeling that comes and goes. Just because the feeling only lasts for, let’s say, 2 days, then that doesn’t immediately mean it wasn’t real love.

“Ignorance is bliss”. DAMN STRAIGHT. This is really my only chance to try and prove where I’m coming from with this whole “emotions are just illusions” thing and that is a perfect statement to make an example of. Ignorance really is bliss; your brother could be dead in a ditch. Hell, he could have died 4 years ago. If you and you brother didn’t speak regularly then you just spent the last 4 years not even worried about him one bit. But BOOM. One day a relative calls you and brings it up. Before you were informed of the tragic event, you had just spent 4 brother less years without even shedding one tear. Now that you get the news you have two options, you can just move on, you might as well; you just did so well for so long without it affecting you in any way. That would be the logical thing to do, but emotions, these illusions, blind your common sense. Instead of staying strong and just getting over it, the average human would get worked up and break down over what happened 4 years ago. It’s called compassion, but some people call it being a pussy.

That’s the problem with society now a days, everyone is worried about being the best and the toughest. It’s like everyone straight up thinks that they have some sort of God-given talent that sets them apart from the rest. They just can’t grasp the concept that nobody is perfect; we’re all just a number, a fucking statistic. We humans, just like all of the other animals on this planet, have just been slapped into a reality where dog eat dog is the norm and survival of the fittest is the overlaying theme. People are willing to stab longtime friends in the back just to get a raise, people have to lie, bribe and cheat their way to success.

The most depressing thought of all, for me personally anyways, is the idea that people pick on special ed kids. It’s not even their faults that they process things a little slower or that they talk a lot about things that nobody cares about. It’s not even like they’re trying to be annoying. I guarantee that if I cute little kid walked up to you and started talking about Pokémon or something, you would be very nice about it. “Hey, it’s just a little kid.” But the second an 18 year old kid with the same mind set starts talking to you, it’s like you have an instant reflex to be a complete asshole. You no longer sugar coat what you say to him. You ignore them to the point where they have nothing left in them but a broken spirit and late night questions to their parents asking why they get treated differently. “Am I different than everyone?” That would probably be one of the most depressing questions to have your kid ask you, but at the same time, you could make it into a happy, positive statement, “Yes, you’re different than everyone , but so am I. Everyone is different. Everyone is special in their own way.” The only problem with sugar coating everything is that there have always been, and there always will be, assholes that need to die. It’s like they really go out of their way to just pick on those few lucky kids who still have their innocence. They get some sort of cheap thrill out of ruining Christmas and Easter for these kids. It’s fucked up when they get picked on. It’s fucked up if a normal kid gets picked on.

Bullying is bull shit. What makes a person think they have the right to tell another kid he/she’s worthless, unattractive or stupid? Everything is based on perception. Some people really just can’t control the fact that they are assholes. Through their own eyes they aren’t doing anything abnormal. They are just going on with business as usual. But the rest of the world looking around them can tell they are assholes. They even tell the assholes how asinine they’ve been acting and everything, but that’s the thing about an asshole. They just don’t give a fuck. Like, not in a healthy, “I’m going to live my life the way I please” kind of way either. More like a “I’m an asshole? Well fuck you, faggot” kind of way.

When you’re born, you know absolutely nothing. As you start to exist in this world you slowly catch on to the customs and you’re taught how to blend in to society. Eventually, you’re just another sheep. Now, there really isn’t anything wrong with that, and there really isn’t anything we can do about it, at all. We’re just a number, nothing more. I’m just another nameless face in a world crowded by others just like me. Everything you know, it was taught to you. You weren’t born knowing anything at all. If there was a God, and he created everything, and we owe our whole existence to him, don’t you think we would all be born knowing of “God’s” existence? But alas, we knew nothing right off the bat. Think of death as reverse birth. Not like the literal process of birth, but that innocence you have. Back when you really knew nothing and nothing mattered. That is death to me. Pure innocence.

But i can't even begin to explain how i feel about everything because i really can't even fully grasp everything. Like, i fully understand everything, but it's probably never going to sink in to the point that i get scared. Right now I just keep wondering shit, like, i could sit here all day just talking about life. Its the only thing to talk about really. Like, life is all there is, and then it's over, and theres nothing."
