Needs input for refinement of FC (pic)

I've tried fruiting with the Shotgun Method, but there was too much fluctuation in temperature and humidity for the mushrooms to grow. So, I've constructed this FC to keep the humidity and air exchange constant. CONSTRUCTION:
- 4 fans (12v) with a replaceable HEPA filter on the outside of each fan on the chamber(?x?x?).
- Two long bubble stones
- Smaller plastic container (?x?x?) filled up with 16 quarts (dry) of perlite
- FC lid has an attached hygrometer and thermometer
- There is a hole (1 cm) in the middle of the lid that is covered. I've tried running it open, but I lost too much humidity (This was earlier in the learning process; when there was half the amount of perlite and with smaller bubble stones. I have not run the FC with the hole open since the modification.).
AUTOMATIC PROCESS: Light on timer (12h) Fan on timer (4 times for 30 min )
LABOR: Misting 3 times per day (Lid is raised a couple of inches to allow air exchange and misting bottle nozzle through.)
CHALLENGE 1: I've set up the fans to blow med-hi and I allow some air exchange while misting, but I'm not certain the optimum amount of air exchange needed and if this is happening in my process. I think there's also air exchange in the space between the lid and the container.
How do I know that my babies are getting enough of the air they need? And how will this change based on the number of cakes I'm fruiting and casing?
CHALLENGE 2: Although I have a flexible schedule, my schedule is packed pursuing endeavors toward a career in medicine and the arts. And of course, lots of "down" time too I want to put forth the hard work up front to be able to relax a bit more later. Automating the process is the answer I think.
What else can I do to minimize the time required to mist and to admire my babies' progress?

If you had trouble with humidity in a shotgun terrarium, you didn't build it to specs. The terrarium doesn't control temperature. You want it sitting indoors in normal room temperature. Adding fans and other 'automation' will screw up the already naturally automated functioning.
You still need to mist to make up for lost moisture. If you try to use fans and bubble wands, you'll be screwing with it ten times as much. I'm an electrical engineer(retired) by profession, with a specialty in computer automation. My repeated attempts over the decades to find the perfect system resulted in tossing out all the mechanical stuff and designing the shotgun terrarium. It will provide proper air exchange and 95% or greater humidity if you build it per the tek. RR

I had the same idea when I first started reading because I wanted to do things "right" the first time. But the SGFC is all I could ask for and more. 5 inches of perlite does me right.

i hate LOVE to agree with RR on this one because simpler is better.
in nature, this shit just happens...no fans, no wands, no crazy ass shit, just nature. <---thats what you want
i think everyone started off thinking, "4 inches of perlite and some misting/fanning is gonna make them grow?! yeah right!" but its true. thats just the way shit works.
i mean, even a fan in the same room is unnecessary.
so i know it sucks, but you kinda went at this the complete wrong ass way. dont get it twisted tho, use it, see how it does, but im tellin you, in the end, you'll be using an elevated clear tote with 1/4 inch holes 2 inches apart on all 6 sides.
they are called teks for a reason.

...But good layout on the tek. ...build a SGFC and BANG!

Lol. Thank you for the quick response, guys. Y'all are right. I didn't do the SGFC exactly to specs. I'll do it this time though. I'll let you know how it goes

you know what man, +5 for you,
good job on the project and an eve better job realizing that SGFC built to spec is just that simple and easy, projects are fun and you def learned from this, keep plugging away and dont stray from the teks as you have been and you will have all the success in the world. You took the criticism well and all with a positive attitude.
