How to fix incorrect setup

Alright, so I know what I did wrong, now I just need to know what I can do to salvage it if at all. PF cakes What I did wrong: I loaded them into a monotub FC as opposed to a SGFC, which is resulting in stagnant water sitting in the perlite and depriving the chamber of the humidity and FAE the cakes need. What I have done to attempt to fix it: Setup a fan on low circulating air in the grow closet to improve the FAE through the polyfiled holes. Fanning and misting 2 to 4 times a day Picture a couple days in:
Pictures after 7 days in the chamber and setup:
Questions: 1.Will my current setup not work, and if so is there a way to salvage it? 2.Should I be seeing pinning by now?
Coir Bulk: What I did wrong: Too much water in the bulk, not enough spawn, opted for layering as opposed to mixing, and did not regulate the temperature in grow room. While it isn't harmful I allowed the temps range from 66 F to 75 F while colonizing. What I have done to fix it: Not much to be done except regulate temp. Pictures 10 days in:
  Pictures 13 days in:
 Pictures now 21 days in:
Questions: 3. I still see un-colonized sub, yet I also see knotting I believe, what do I do? 4. Do I just need to distract, myself work on my patience some more and stop harassing the good people of the shroomery ? 5. Should I lose all hope and start focusing on the new batch following instructions better .

1 - IDK how it will work. got get another tote & make a proper SGFC & move the cakes.
2 - IDK w/ that set up
3 - quit opening the tub & looking at it! you want HIGH CO2 levels during colonization & every time you open the lid you change out the CO2 for air.
4 - see above. start reading more & distract yourself

For your bulk Ide fruit NOW....Ive had the surface not completely colonize sometimes. It will go smooth, trust me. Coir is very contam resistant anyway.... Those uncolonized spots will act like a casing and I guarantee you will see some good growth in and around them...

I misted and fanned 5 times a day, then went away for the weekend leaving the fan/mist responsibility to my roommate. They completely forgot, luckily I came back to this in fruit. All cakes were dry and hard, so while they are dunking I am going to mod the FC into a SGFC. Please note that I am not saying this was an alternative in any means, I am simply sharing that I was lucky enough to get something out of it. Probably a quarter of what I should have got. Cheers all.

Edit note: This was from the cakes, the mono was in front of the fan and got the worst of the loss of moisture. It is bone dry and I think all the pins that had started have since aborted. Gonna work on bringing it's RH back up and see if there is anything to salvage.

Air pumps are under $10, you will find misting + fanning less of a chore with one.
