might fruit.
this was just colonized birdseed in soil in think

ground618UP, was everything that you spawned with (actual grain to substrate) fully colonized.

you say you scraped out the myc, does that mean you left the un myc

ALSO, what is your substrate? manure? coir? etc

Sorry, but I have to disagree. It will certainly contaminate (actually it already is ), if it has not been colonized properly prior to birthing. Trich is a pita and once you got it, it's gonna stay by your side like your shadow.

Sorry for the confusion... I was asking ground.

I've had a bit to drink and didn't overly pay attention to the whole thread, but did the OP mention what/if he spawned to a bulk. As in Coir etc. I believe a few mentioned it, but he may have used soil or some variant of coir that was not pasteurized and left seeds in that are now growing. I know I have seen a few green sprouts from improperly prepped coir in the past. Not full blow grass though lol. I would also agree that he should leave it and see what happens and post pictures frequently. It would be cool to see fruits come up amongst a nice lawn of grass.

Like to know what the substrate is. If the WBS was pcd for 60-90 mins shouldn't be the problem.

What kind of birdseed? Whats in it? That doesn't look like sunflowers or corn. Not sure how milo or millet looks at early growth stages.

If all the millet/milo/etc is alive and sprouting, there's no way he'll get mushrooms out of this.  If the grain is alive, the mycelium can't eat it.  Cubensis is a decomposer - it eats dead organic matter.

I've had trays with one or two sprouts before, but this looks like most or all of the grain is alive.

Aside from the above, I don't see any mycelium poking through the 'casing.'  I use that word lightly...

What pressure is your PC running at? If your running at less than 15 psi (alot of the cheaper PCs are 5 or 10), that could be the source of your issue.

I still think you might see something there's no way you would get absolutely nothing just dont bet on much. I have seen wild cubes just flat attack live corn so I would say shit happens and nature will do what it wants.
