Letting stuff go

Been doing alot of thinking, it seems some people can let things go way easier than others.
For me, letting things go is easy. But where would you draw the line. Where is the line you don't let people cross, the line where it becomes not OK to let things go?
How do you define things that are important to you?

As long as you care enough about the consequences of your actions you are ok. Just don't be one of those people who go around fucking up other peoples lives and not caring enough to change your ways.

What are you talking about in particular?
It sounds cliche but follow your heart. We have instincts. They may be battling it out with logic and/or emotions but you know the right path inside.

My line is physical harm to a person or animal. Beyond that people are gonna think what they want. If a good conversation can't be instigated, I just drop it.

I am not really asking for myself. I was talking to someone about the need to let go. And they brought up where you would cross the line. I said it was if something was important to me, and actually important. But then I realized that can be defined differently by everyone.
For example, I would never let go injustice /hurt to someone / animal. But if someone cuts in front of me, is being annoying, etc, I try my best to just let it go.
However the person I was talking to said that those things are very important to them.
So I was wondering what others thought.

Its all a game and nothing really matters.
My opinion is that you don't need to let go as such if someone cuts in front of you. I don't place any importance on it in the first place.
That doesn't mean I would not ask them to get to the back back equally I wouldn't risk my life over it if they pull a knife or something either.

great thread!
I try to not let stuff bother me, but its all circumstantial.
Some days I can let big things go, other days I'll lose my mind over the smallest thing.
Sometimes I wish I were a psychopath so I wouldn't have to worry about what to care about and what not to.

Some people can hold grudges for years. I think its ridiculous and unhealthy, but who am I to judge them.
On a materilistic note. Some people can't let stuff go... Even if they will never use it again. But there is that powerful nag called 'what if?'

I used to not be able to get rid of anything. Then I realized. I don't ever look at half the shit. Why not give it away. Makes moving easier.
