but to question your asking not much difference potency of cubensis substrains, and I notice a difference in different strains like azurensens and coplandia as opposed to cubes....the difference is in the affect it has on your trip but not on the strength....that homes from higher doses

Honestly it's one you would have to experience, it's not the potency so much as its the feel of the trip....an example is the discussion of adding triptamine HCL to the substrate...it does nothing to increase the potency but it really alters the experience....my opinion is that it felt more synthetic....almost like plastic....if that makes any sense to you....

If you are talking the tryptophan content of the substrate affecting the potency of mushrooms then again Gartz has demonstrated that it does - therefore substrates such as manure and millet with high tryptophan contents tend to produce more potent mushrooms.

tryptophan is the same substance found in turkey that makes you sleepy....it may also add a little to the potency but I had used Triptamine HCL, in a way I guess it was more potent but it's short live....not sure about woth tryptophan....I would probably just go to sleep on them.....wanna talk about pleasant dreams  :laugh:
