Best Automation, pre Martha Build???
    #14518316 - 05/26/11 10:47 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I have a job, plus other affairs, that take me away from the house for 18~48 hours at a time. Until I have a "Martha" built and have verified it stabilization, what is the ideal small-scale TEK for automation?

PMP?
Mono?
Other?

Please only respond with personally-verified experiences and the reasoning behind the response. Thank you, very very much

Does PMP suck @$$ for bulk?

Is a monotub automated enough for as much neglect as ill need?

I'm currently trying all of the above teks and Mono appears to be the most self sufficient so far

For a terrarium, it doesn't get more automated than a shotgun terrarium, and it uses no fans or other junk to break down.

The SGFC here is also tight here but seems to dry out too often with the fan I have running for the Mono.

FTR upside down sex rules!

I love the simplicity of the SGFC, for sure... I just had only every read reports of multiple fanning/misting being "needed" within one 24hr period. Which, is the exact opposite of what I'm needing...

I would LOVE to go a "non-powered" route, if it is truly neglectable

mist once a day, fan when you mist.

the less often you mist the more heavily you should mist.
